When the Dead Sea scrolls were found. The book of Isaiah was found in two pots they where called part a and part b. The 53rd Chapter was all about Jesus Crucification to get the full understanding one should read it.
 The thing is it was written about 700 years before Jesus's birth. Some parts were translated word for word as we have it today. Jesus himself taught from it.

The Masoretic Text
The Masortic Text was compiled by the Jewish Masorete scribes in the last few hundred years of the first millenium A.D., with the oldest available editions date between 900 and 1100 AD. It is the Hebrew scriptures used to translate the OT. Its production is legendary and it's accuracy is heralded my many. When compared to the much older Dead Sea Scrolls, it's accuracy is considered by some to be incredible to the point of being miraculous, and does much to prove the accuracy and reliability of the Bible. The scribes themselves went to great pains to be as accurate as possible.

I figured someone would say the a-word... But I agree, almost...

But what is amazing this that the copy found predates the birth of Christ by at least 400 years. Which totally squelched the belief that the book of Isaiah was written in the first century. What proof of the Christ fulfilling prophecy!
