They already had a lot of other-humanoid / subhuman fossils, this one just links Chimps (higher primates) to the rest of the monkey species, specifically to Lemurs.

AMEN! AMEN!  I like your way of thinking.

Ciscokid - When was there a case that someone had to fly in order to survive crowded streets?

larry2 - There has been many times flying over a traffic jam would have been preferable to being stuck waiting for it to clear. Why do you think couriers in the bigger cities use bicycles to get around traffic?

Not to mention the absolute freedom flying would be, there are many benefits of being able to fly. We would develop lighter bones; a sure winner to women stepping on a scale. Elimination of waste could be made on every takeoff, clothing would be a thing of the past; even coats in winter; we could just fluff up our feathers. Flying in Chicago would keep many children out of the prevalent gang street shootings. If we developed into condor type birds, there would no longer be a need of refrigeration, as rotting foods would be on top of the ten most wanted lists.

How long do you reckon it'll take to evolve into this ability? Will it occur quicker if we all participate, or are individual areas of the globe more conducive to developing chirping and building nests skills?

Exhau - Your ignorance of evolution does not lend much strength to your attacks on it.

larry2 - How would you attack it? If you're defending it based on nothing more than  hopeful theorys, and I truly wanted nonsense I would listen to a preterist for laughs, but I know no one can be as bad as that so I sit ready to listen.

I've always wanted to meet the one that knew exactly how God created everything using evolution as to how a worm became a flying object through natural selection.  Smile

Responses like that go a long way in explaining why evolution is taught in our schools.  When you have nothing more than that in opposition, then it probably should be taught.

Congratulations to evolutionists. They have now found their 987,554,367 missing link. It's just too bad the first 987,554,366 turned out to be bologna. But I'm sure this one will be different.

I found more proof of evolution! This is a picture of a genuine missing link still alive.

It was found by this team of top scientists!

So that's what bologna is made from!  I've always wondered.

I don't really know if evolution is true or not.  I certainly would have no problem with it if God indeed established evolution as a means of bringing about His creation.  I do have a lot of questions about it though.  But there are a lot of things to be said for it.  But standing up silly strawmen to knock down does nothing to resolve anything.  It is similar to the atheist who responds if there were a God, He wouldn't let all the bad stuff happen.  All either response shows is a total lack of knowledge on both.

Your aren't ignorant anymore. I just proved evolution by finding the missing link. I'll probably win the Nobel Peace Prize. Rolling on floor laughing
