Has evil always existed? will evil always exist.

We believe that God cannot learn anything new. is it wrong to conclude this:
 
The knowledge of what is good and what is evil has always existed in God. Even before creation, evil and good existed in the mind of God as knowledge. Thus good and evil cannot be created. Knowledge of what is good and evil will always exist in the mind of God even after the new heaven and new earth.

I believe it is more like light and dark.  There is a thing as light, but dark is descriptive in relation to light.

But I believe in eternal hell, not annihilation…so it isn’t as simple for me.

Can I amend my simplicity into "Not in God's presence?" Even here I may be off for I read in Psalms 139:8  If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

If you mean evil as in sin, yes sin will cease to exist in the future.

I see what you’re saying.  I was thinking more of those in an eternal hell (if one believes hell to be eternal) existing outside of the will of God – not outside the plan of God.  Those in hell would exist apart from God, apart from His will, apart from love, etc, - condemned for their rejection. 

Except that they were created for that purpose.  It isn’t His will that men should reject Him, but He ordains their rejection for His purpose.
 
That is the evil I was referring to - but it would be non-existant to those with God.

So I'll say "no" and "no" also, and keep it simple.  When that which is perfect is come, I don't think evil will be included.

i think there are a few mistranslations in our english bibles with the word hell
hell in this case refers to hades, which is different to gehenna (lake of fire)
it's more clear to use the terms hades and gehenna

God is good, with no evil present.  Evil is the absence of God. Those who Those who are “good” now are not truly good of themselves, but only through Christ.
 
Evil, then, is not present in God, but in those who reject God (whether it was angels when that opportunity was present, or men in our current state).  God had the knowledge that men would rebel, the knowledge that men would do “evil” by rejecting His will, but evil exists only in the rebellion from His will.

Evil has existed as long as good has. Since God is good, and God is eternal, than evil is also eternal.
