Lots of Jews and most most Christians and most pagan Muslims like ot think that today's Israel is actually the Chosen Race?
True, there are many unsaved souls among all ethnic categories, but concerning the Jews, they were the first God chose to draw unto Himself, and He always had those among them that believed in Him, even until Christ returns. These are they whom the Lord Jesus had declared that "believed in God" (Jn 14:1), which is something that cannot be said of the majority of the world, which are those who will never choose to believe (Mat 7:13, 14; Jhn 3:18).
Just for a technical note, there is only one race of humans made up of various ethnicity, thus to me those who always believed in God among the Hebrews and the Jews have been and will always be "God's chosen people" (Heb 8:10), e.g. first chosen people, which gives no superiority but is the sequential order of God). Christians will also be a "people of God" (Rev 21:3) but in a different capacity as "children of God," which requires believing in Christ before you see Him in the Millennium (Jhn 20:29).
It's my belief that they will be brought back into fellowship (which God never ceased to so) during the Millennium after seeing Christ and remain as eternal representatives of God in the new earth, and Christians representatives in the new heaven (not that this has any necessity of acceptance). I know I may have included unnecessary opinions about Israel's eschatology but my intention is to explain why I say of what I say.
Catholics are the worst sort of pagan and doomed to destruction for their idolatries and lies./quote]
I believe that due to the large number of souls being misled via the large numbers of errant teaching, Roman Catholicism has delayed Christian growth more than all religions professing Christianity. I say "delayed" because rebirth and growth in Christ (Eph 4:15) can never be interrupted, their name being in The Lamb's Book of Life."
