Who taught you about God? Who is your God?

Paul told us that only God could teach one to know God, has God taught you, how did he teach you?


(1 Corinthians 2:10-12)  “These are the very things that God has revealed to us through the Spirit, for the Spirit reaches the depts. Of everything, even the depths of God.  After all, the depths of a man can only be known by his own spirit, not by any other man, and in the same way the depths of God can only be known by the Spirit of God.

Where did Jesus tell you to put your trust?

Jesus said he would come and make his home in those who lived the Word of God.  If God has not made his home in one then he or she had better look at how they are living the Word of God. 

One will know if God has made his home in them if God is teaching him or her.  One will have to have communication with God to have God teach them.  Also if one still sins he or she knows for sure that they do not know God.

(1 John 3: 5 - 6) “ Now you know that He appeared in order to abolish sin, and that in Him there is no sin; anyone who lives in God does not sin, and anyone who sins has never seen Him or known Him.

I know for certain that I know and love God; yet, the flesh is sinful...we are in a state of sin.  Jesus lives in me through the Holy Spirit...and I know that Jesus is the narrow door to heaven.

Giver...you are NOT the way; you are mere man with a sin condition...confess your sins and recieve Jesus into your heart and you will be saved.

Strange is it not that not once did Jesus say the church would teach one to know God.  Now who is it that twisted scripture?

Jesus said: (John 10:1-5)"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice."  Jesus said his people would be called out by name, and they would follow no other.

John told us that Christians would be anointed with the Holy Spirit and would need no other teacher.

(1 John 2:27) “But you have not lost the anointing that he gave you, and you do not need anyone to teach you, the anointing he gave teaches you everything; you are anointed with truth, not a lie, and as it has taught you, so you must stay in him.

Did scripture ever say that anyone would be able to bring one to know God?  People may bring one to believe that Jesus is God, and being baptized in Jesus name says to people that one does believe Jesus is God, but that does not mean one knows God.

The only way one can come to know God is to have God teach him or her personally.

Then read the Bible...and understand the context in which God uses the writers to bring forth His Word!!!  Not a few pet verses taken out of context...used to destroy the Grace of our Almighty God!

Go back and read my post.  What I have been saying is man can only teach about God.  Man can’t teach one to know God.
