Who taught you about God? Who is your God?

We are not talking about preaching God’s Word.  Preaching God’s Word is used to bring people to accept Jesus as their savior.  

And, its used to edify the body of Christ, Giver.  Those who know Christ as their savior, NEED to KNOW Him as their Lord as well.  It is what we use to MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS!  
It is what we use so that we lean not on our own understanding.
It is what we hide in our hearts, so that we might not sin against Him!

What I am talking about is after one accepts Jesus as his or her savior, then they need to allow Jesus/Holy Spirit to teach him or her.

And that is where the Spirit comes into play...a believer hears something someone interprets about the word and the Spirit brings to mind remembrances of the word to weigh it out.  If what is shared contradicts scripture, it is false and a lie and can be rejected!

Yes, ultimately, this is true...BUT, Giver, He doesn't want it to be separated apart from each other, for Heaven's sake!   We have to actively HIDE His word in.our.hearts! (Just like scripture tells us!) He doesn't just infuse His word in.

He promises He remains faithful when I am faithless.  He promises to cleanse me from all unrighteousness and cast my sin as far as east from west and remember it no more!

One needs to understand that to know God is to live a holy life.  If one sins he or she does not know God, nor have they seen God.

The measuring stick to gage if one is a Christian is sin.  A Christian does not sin.

When one who has been given the Holy Spirit deliberately commits a sin; they are rejecting God’s power given to them to reject Satan/sin.  Such an act is a terrible insult to God.

No, we only needs JESUS to defeat Satan for us.   satan has no power or authority in our lives when we are covered by the blood of the Lamb. That is why when/if we sin, Jesus is our advocate on High!  That is why the Holy Spirit pricks and convicts our hearts of our sin areas; Satan has no authority over us, GOD does and He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.    God sees us as perfect because the Perfect Lamb of God stands and covers us with His robes of righteousness.

One needs to understand that to know God is to live a holy life.  If one sins he or she does not know God, nor have they seen God.

If one sins, they DO know God, they KNOW they are forgiven, sealed with the Holy Spirit, held in the palm of His hand and NOTHING can pluck them out!  They KNOW they are in the process of being made like Him and God will not give up, because He began a good work and will be faithful to complete it until the day of Christ Jesus!    They know that our sin is thrown as far as east to west and remembered no more!

Yes, it is..and it grieves His heart more than we will ever be able to comprehend in this lifetime, BUT, His insult is NOT greater than His capacity to FORGIVE, to CLEANSE, to PARDON!

There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ.  That is so true.  What is so sad is that no one who sins is in Christ, but are in Satan.

There you go again, Giver...giving lips over to the accuser of the brethren.    Breaks my heart for you, it really does.

What about Peter, Giver.  He DENIED Christ THREE times. DENIED Him.  And then, along comes Jesus and asks Peter THREE times "Do you love Me?" It wasn't an accident.

Further, Jesus tells us 

Matthew 26:28
This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

In Luke 6 He calls us to "Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful."

LOOK. Giver at what God promises He has done!
Colossians 1:13
For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves,

LOVE this!
Hebrews 10:16-23
This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."Then he adds: "Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more."And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin. Therefore, brothers, since we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way opened for us through the curtain, that is, his body, and since we have a great priest over the house of God, let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

And this:
James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Don't forget THIS:

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

People who sin tell other they love Jesus, but are willing to insult the God they say they love, by sinning.  This is done even thought Jesus has given us the power to never sin.

People who say that DON'T sin are willing to insult the God they say they love by, bragging, being proud, by picking the specks instead of dealing with their own log of denial.  This is done even though Jesus has given us the PROMISE to forgive us our sin. 

God disciplines those He loves, Giver. If you never sin, you've never been disciplined and that should concern you!
