Remembering our Lord

Dear Brothers and sisters,
Today is Good Friday by our calendar. Let us remember the humiliation and torture our Lord went through for us today. without that.... we would not have salvation and freedom for eternal torment. Sunday is a day to celebrate because he arose again, but I think today should be a day of celebration, tinged with sorrow, because our God loved us so much and wanted us with him forever, that he came  in a human form to suffer as he did for each of us. 

My heart aches because I have a brother and children who do not accept this gift he gave to us.  Let us all spend a few minutes praying for all our lost loved ones and thanking our Lord for his sacrifice.
