We all think we are correct in what we believe.  Most often the older we get the more Truth we know and the less dogmatic we are.
It's not that we get less convinced that what we believe is true.  It's that we get more accepting of people who don't have it right because we remember beingg there, remember the moment the light went on, etc.

If the Spirit of Truth abides in us, then when somebody speaks the Whole TruthTM of the matter, it should stand out like a brilliant flashing neon sign.  Anything that doesn't slap you up the side of the head like a ton of dead squid is only part of the truth (or none of it).

I can honestly say that nothing in this thread yet is readily identifiable as an AHA!
