I heard it mentioned in an unflattering way, but I have no idea what it actually means.  Care to enlighten us?

2 Corinthians 13:5 (ESV)
5Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!

Check up Greek Gnosticism, you will most likely find it's roots in there somewhere!   Marcus

I know more than the average bear about gnosticism, and the only thing I recall of election came from the Sethites.  But it had naught to do with this.

After checking up a few places, I came up with the answer that triple predestination is a descriptor that:
1) some are destined to be saved
2) some are conditionally destined to be saved, and
3) some are destined to be damned

You just reminded me of one of my favourite kiddies T.V. programes of many years ago, Yogi Bear! Now that does bring back good memories. Watching the show and eating popcorn
I mentioned Gnosticism because of it's effect on Augustine, also the developement of Gnosticism over the years. From the old Greek God's, to the developement of the 'immovable mover', from where many of Augustines ideas of predestination came from.
What was Yogi's park ranger called again, im wrecking my head trying to remember??? Banging head against wall
