I would like to provide the encyclical of Pope Gregory XVI concerning ambiguity and subtlety of the speech and writings of heretics.  It is stated down below.

But let me start by saying that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, not man.  Jesus entrusted His church to St. Peter, not man.  Man, is not the way.  If one were to use the word man, that denotes every man. 

John 14:6 Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.

I must also say that the word "Christ" is a title, and the word Jesus, is the name of Jesus, the second person of the Blessed Holy Trinity, born of Mary.  The title and word "Christ" means anointed; Messiah.  Therefore, the title and word "Christ" could falsely be denoted to man.

Luke 1:31  Behold thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and shalt bring forth a son; and thou shalt call his name Jesus.

The devil and his heretics always use subtlety and ambiguity to hide their lies, from the undiscerning simple people, so that the heresy is more easily excepted.  For instance, antipope John Paul II attempts to hide the Nestorian Heresy, in one of his encyclicals to [all] families.

Antipope John Paul II, Letter to Families GRATISSIMAM SANE-1994 (#1-# 2):

1. The celebration of the Year of the Family gives me a welcome opportunity to knock at the door of your home, eager to greet you with deep affection and to spend time with you. I do so by this Letter, taking as my point of departure the words of the Encyclical Redemptor Hominis, published in the first days of my ministry as the Successor of Peter. There I wrote that man is the way of the Church.

With these words I wanted first of all to evoke the many paths along which man walks, and at the same time to emphasize how deeply the Church desires to stand at his side as he follows the paths of his earthly life. The Church shares in the joys and hopes, the sorrows and anxieties of people's daily pilgrimage, firmly convinced that it was Christ himself who set her on all these paths. Christ entrusted man to the Church; he entrusted man to her as the "way" of her mission and her ministry.

For by His incarnation the Son of God has united Himself in some fashion with every man. He worked with human hands, He thought with a human mind, acted by human choice and loved with a human heart.

Please notice that antipope John Paul II, first, introduces the Nestorian heresy, boldly and then tries to cover it with ambiguity: "He worked with human hands, He thought with a human mind, acted by human choice and loved with a human heart."

Antipope John Paul II promotes the Nestorian heresy, with REDEMPTOR HOMINIS in mind, in paragraph 1 in the letter to families.

In reality, the name for that deep amazement at man's worth and dignity is the Gospel, that is to say: the Good News. It is also called Christianity.

Antipope John Paul II says that man is the Gospel, the Good News and its called Christianity.

Jesus is the gospel.  Its Jesus', [infinite] worth and dignity, not man.  Jesus is the Good News.  Not man.

Here is Pope Gregory XVI's encyclical warning about the subtle and ambiguous writings of heretics.

Among the special schemes with which non-Catholics plot against the adherents of Catholic truth to turn their minds away from the faith, the biblical societies are prominent. They were first established in England and have spread far and wide so that We now see them as an army on the march, conspiring to publish in great numbers copies of the books of divine Scripture.  These are translated into all kinds of vernacular languages for dissemination without discrimination among both Christians and infidels.  Then the biblical societies invite everyone to read them unguided. Therefore it is just as Jerome complained in his day: [l] they make the art of understanding the Scriptures without a teacher” common to babbling old women and crazy old men and verbose sophists,” and to anyone who can read, no matter what his status.  Indeed, what is even more absurd and almost unheard of, they do not exclude the common people of the infidels from sharing this kind of a knowledge.

2. But you know the aim of these societies. In his sacred writings, Peter, after praising the letters of Paul, warns that in these epistles “certain things are difficult to understand, which the unlearned and the unstable distort just as they do the rest of the Scriptures, which also leads to their destruction.” He adds at once, “Since you know this beforehand, be on your guard lest, carried away by the error of the foolish, you fall away from your own steadfastness.”[2] Hence it is clear to you that even from the first ages of Christianity this was a skill appropriate for heretics. Having repudiated the given word of God and rejected the authority of the Catholic Church, they either interpolate “by artifice” into the Scriptures or pervert “its meaning through interpretation. ”[3] Nor finally are you ignorant of the diligence and knowledge required to faithfully translate into another language the words of the Lord.  In the many translations from the biblical societies, serious errors are easily inserted by the great number of translators, either through ignorance or deception.  These errors, because of the very number and variety of translations, are long hidden and hence lead the faithful astray.  It is of little concern to these societies if men reading their vernacular Bibles fall into error. They are concerned primarily that the reader becomes accustomed to judging for himself the meaning of the books of Scripture, to scorning divine tradition preserved by the Catholic Church in the teaching of the Fathers, and to repudiating the very authority of the Church.

Pope St. Pius X, wrote an encyclical that the meanings of dogmas are never to be changed but always retained in meaning and the same purport.

To be sworn to by all clergy, pastors, confessors, preachers, religious superiors, and professors in philosophical-theological seminaries.

I . . . . firmly embrace and accept each and every definition that has been set forth and declared by the unerring teaching authority of the Church, especially those principal truths which are directly opposed to the errors of this day. …

Fourthly, I sincerely hold that the doctrine of faith was handed down to us from the apostles through the orthodox Fathers in exactly the same meaning and always in the same purport. Therefore, I entirely reject the heretical’ misrepresentation that dogmas evolve and change from one meaning to another different from the one which the Church held previously. I also condemn every error according to which, in place of the divine deposit which has been given to the spouse of Christ to be carefully guarded by her, there is put a philosophical figment or product of a human conscience that has gradually been developed by human effort and will continue to develop indefinitely. … Furthermore, with due reverence, I submit and adhere with my whole heart to the condemnations, declarations, and all the prescripts contained in the encyclical Pascendi and in the decree Lamentabili,especially those concerning what is known as the history of dogmas. I also reject the error of those who say that the faith held by the Church can contradict history, and that Catholic dogmas, in the sense in which they are now understood, are irreconcilable with a more realistic view of the origins of the Christian religion.

… I promise that I shall keep all these articles faithfully, entirely, and sincerely, and guard them inviolate, in no way deviating from them in teaching or in any way in word or in writing. Thus I promise, this I swear, so help me God. . .
