Absolutely not. Are we not all brothers of the same faith in Christ. What did Jesus say is the heart of the Gospel. " For God so loved the world the He gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."    Jesus does not see Catholic or Protestant. His church is not many divisions. To claim the catholic church has only been one church and all outside of it is a misnomer. It is deception. From the first day the church was born it has only been of one faith. and it was neither RC or Protestant. See a field that is planted but is divided in to main parts. One side is Catholic  and the other side is Protestants. Satan confused an divided the church. The fact is both sides make one field and one  church and faith. Just drop all the names that bring division and see who Christ sees. He will be the only one to divide his church as the sheep from the goats and the tares from the wheat.

Chruch leaders have responsibility to teach christ in truth but they can aso be blind guides. see that you work out your own salvation with fear and trembling

God bless

Yes, it matters.  Being baptized, which you were, is very important.  Being taught correct doctrine and reading and hearing the Bible proclaimed is very important.  Recieving the Body and Blood of our Lord, Jesus Christ is very important.  Ask your parents for information if they are willing.  Ask others, as you have here, if they are not.

p.s.-That's quite a name you've got!

Yes all this matters because we are taught in Scripture. All this appllies to the one field that was planted  If the field is in the valley and the river of confusion runs through it to divide it , it confuses both sides. Traditions of men and the doctrines of men are the fruit of it on both sides.
