Title: Kneel or Bow ?
Post by: wincam on Sat Oct 24, 2015 - 14:10:15
Catholics in reverence and veneration as highly favoured and specially blessed by God as the mother of His son kneel to Mary just as His personal archangel did and acknowledged and bow down and acknowledge God as their Saviour just as Mary did - no problem except for the creators of problems - wincam

Where does God say that we should kneel to anyone but Jesus? The problem is in those like you who are disobeying God and idolising a human being rather than Him.

Question  Just as His personal Archangel did?   Who was that and when did this happen.

Well I know two beloved disciples Peter and Paul and neither one of them allowed anyone to bow to them. It does not say that  any ever bowed to Mary in scripture. If it was written then I would except that but it does not.

and rightly so - we bow only to God but kneel or bend the knee in respect even to royalty - what the early Christians believed and accepted is preserved and shown in their early icons for all to see and do likewise - wincam

Not everyone does that.  I don't kneel or bend, bow to Royalty, nor would I.  I bow/kneel/bend only to the LORD.  Let us remember Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and trust God alone. Venerate and kneel to no one.

that is not what Jesus taught as render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and unto God the things that are God's - Protestants render to a Kings and Queens the things that are God's - wincam

I don't break the law set up to govern me. And,  I only bow to God.  Worship does not belong to Caesar.

Sorry you don't get that.

many Protestants here bow to Royalty unless they accept that kneeling or bowing does not necessarily include worship - wincam
