You need to get a better handle on the cosmology of the solar system.

What makes you think that the sun would have been nearer the earth millions of years ago?  Bodies in motion tend to reach an equilibrium in the absence of friction or external forces in time.  The idea that the universe is expanding wouldn't necessitate that the earth would be closer to the sun millions of years ago.

oh yeah ! and a big bang would be a silent big bang especially since there was nothing to bang but this nothing turned into everything and Dinosaurs roamed the earth millions of years ago and even tried to fly and crashed and became extinct or birds - daft I call it - but mere shrinkage at 3 to 5 feet an hour would be enough even if expansion is not really expansion - wincam

I'm having a hard time following you.  Are you using sarcasm?

I don't believe in the big bang either.  All I'm saying is that, if there WAS a big bang, and the universe WAS expanding, it doesn't mean that the earth and the sun would have been closer together millions of years ago.

You are not interested in learning about anything. Rather you are interested in trashing [out of sheer ignorance] what you obviously do not understand and/or do not want to believe.

Gotta love geocentrism, it places the stars that are billions of light years from earth, rotating around the earth at immeasurable speeds.

... Really? Speaking strictly from an acceptable scientific standpoint, the sun age in billions of years, not millions. They estimate the Sun to be a bit over 5 billion years old, and have an estimation of 5 billion years left of life, meaning we would be many many many many years away from having the same Sun as Krypton. Where did you get this?

it seems speed is no problem but moving an immoveable earth is - but not to some like Galileo who say "it moves"and other such nonsense- btw via google see 'The Principle' and galileo was wrong - wincam

That apparently isn't the case and since 2011.  Neutrinos has been discovered to be faster than the speed of light. Fascinating really.

Neutrino results challenge a cornerstone of Albert Einstein's special theory of relativity, which itself forms the foundation of modern physics

The earth does move, it has been physically recorded doing so whereas it's proximity could not possibly be stationary in relation to all other bodies in our solar system.
I would not waste my time on The Principal, a literal joke of a documentary that is being passed off as reality.

It was later reported that the "neutrinos faster than light" report was wrong due to measurement error, I believe:

This sounds a lot like that "cold fusion" research that was going on several years ago.  It ended up that the test measurements were no good.  It takes work to move something from point A to point B.  When someone tells me that he moved something from but didn't apply any external force, then we know something is not right.

In the traditional context of things this is true. Moving an object from point A to point B requires energy and the faster you move it, the more energy it takes.  The speed of light is a true limit to how fast something can travel because when approaching such speeds, mass increases which requires more energy. Other weird things happen also like time dilation and length contraction..but that's old school stuff!  Lol

Wincam, it is pretty obvious that you wouldn't know a pseudo/phony scientist from a real one.  I seriously doubt that you have had any significant education or knowledge in any field of science beyond high school and perhaps not even that.

Wincam, it is pretty obvious that you wouldn't know a pseudo/phony scientist from a real one.  I seriously doubt that you have had any significant education or knowledge in any field of science beyond high school and perhaps not even that.

that is the difference between the likes of you and I since I do not rely on my own ego/deductions/conclusions etc but as advised and would advise Catholics and others to consult the experts and specialists in all the disciplines of both theology and science and for Catholics these can and may be found together and united at www.kolbecenter.org and www.daylightorigins.com - some it seems would even dare to know more and better than the creator of both science and scientists - btw it has been truly said that knowledge is of two kinds knowing it or knowing where to find it - wincam

But the problem here is that I seriously doubt that you have the ability, skill set, or the educational background to determine what from those web sites might be true and what might not.  That is the problem with "the likes of you".

of course you are qualified in all the disciplines of science and theology to know that - it does not required rocket science  that seems to blind some scientists - wincam

Not all, but some.  I'll bet that is more than you can say.

a little knowledge is a dangerous thing - wincam

How would you know?
