A most warm welcome to you, Jessica!  We are so grateful you are here and even more grateful that you are the Lord's now.

I wonder if you might want to post your question regarding attending the Catholic Church at this link...

As far as deepening your relationship with the Lord, please feel free to post in the general topics discussion or Theology...moderator?  I love to talk about that with others...but I am not Catholic...

Hi, it's good to make sure what ppl believe is really in God's Word, the Bible.

'There is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.' 1 Tim. 2.5

'By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast.' (Ephesians 2.8,9)

May God bless your careful reading of His Word!

John 3.16 contains great theology, without doubt.

Read God's Word prayerfully every day; it's a joy and privilege.

If folks feel they must have TATTOOS, have you considered having faith related designs tattooed?

(And try vacationing in the South: plenty of sun, and some great churches down there!)

...and remember, not all on these boards look to the Bible as our final authority. But it's in the Bible that we get what we should believe.

God bless His Word to you.

Hello  all_new-me,

Glad that you took the big step. Congradulations! May our Lord Jesus Christ be Praised: Now and Forever, Amen.  Our Lord has called you into His Church during Month of the Most Holy Rosary, so I would suggest visiting the church early before Mass and find the Grotto of our Lady, the Virgin Mary. Kneel before it and thank God for being chosen as one of Jesus's flock. If you don't have a Rosary, at least say one Hail Mary.  You can visit your local Bible Book store first, and purchase Catholic Prayer Cards to help you get started.  These are small cards the size of playing cards.  The Hail Mary and Our Father Prayers would be good for starters.

This site will explain how to enter a Catholic Church before Mass:

Also, here is the Fatima Prayer that is very popular and you will pray it quite often during the Rosery.  It's a short little prayer that is easy to memorize, and it will get you started.

Fatima Prayer

O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.

I am not Catholic.  However, as a former atheist myself I say praise God.  I wish you well in your walk with God.
