Students of the Apostles
« on: Mon Jan 25, 2016 - 13:56:53 »
John, when writing his 1st Epistle says this about some of their;
ahhhh  -- Students ---
1John 2:18
----- as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many antichrists;

They (these "anti-christ") went out from us,
but they were not of us;
for if they had been of us,
they would no doubt have continued with us:
but they went out,
that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you

-------  Oral Teaching's ------
Act 15:1
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said,
Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain
which went out from us
have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying,
Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law:
to whom we gave no such commandment:

John also writes of some other men;
⦁   Claiming Apostolic Authority
Rev.2:2
and how thou canst not bear them which are evil:
and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not,
and hast found them liars

Even Paul has a few things to say of these
"Claim to be / Self Appointed" Apostles
2Cor.11:13
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

transforming..

One entry found for transform.

Main Entry: 1transform
Pronunciation: tran(t)s-'form
Function: verb
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin transformare, from trans- + formare to form, from forma form
transitive senses
1 a : to change in composition or structure
b : to change the outward form or appearance of
c : to change in character or condition

To change markedly the appearance or form of:
"A thick, fibrous fog had transformed the trees into ghosts and the streetlights into soft, haloed moons"
(David Michael Kaplan).

To change the nature, function, or condition of; convert.

To undergo a transformation.
____________________________________________ ___________________

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers,
transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
---(which say they are apostles, and are not)----
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his minister also
be transformed as the ministers of righteousness

John has a few more choice words for these
Anti-Christ Ministers of Satan; deceitful workers
that somehow seduced the 1st Day Church into believing they were
the ministers of righteousness;

John 2:9
and I knowthe blasphemy of them which say they are Jews,
and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
⦁   the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews,
⦁   we will have to take that up in another thread

So here we find; a group of men in the 1st Day Church;
Men Claiming- Apostolic Authority / Apostolic Succession,
As if they were the Ministers of Righteousness
that went forth deceiving and seducing the church

Many, trained by the Apostles themselves,
as in Students of the Apostles
which in reality were the Ministers of Satan
and were the beginning's of the
coming of the The man of Sin in the Church

so when they tell you "So and So" was a "Student of the Apostles"
that don't prove anything
⦁   They {anti-christ}
⦁   went out from us,
⦁   but they were not of us;
⦁   but they went out,
⦁   that they might be made manifest
⦁   that they were not all of us.
⦁   26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you
Oh well;
so much for the Claim of "Apostolic Succession / Authority"

So, from which non-orthodox book are you getting all this stuff from? You should be giving us your sources.

ie:
"non-orthodox book "
???  ????

ie: "You should be giving us your sources"

OK, sources
1John 2:18
----- as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,

26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you

(KJV)

here it is from the Douay-Rheims

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us.
For if they had been of us, they would no doubt have remained with us;
but that they may be manifest, that they are not all of us.

....
26 These things have I written to you, concerning them that seduce you.

John wrote that 1500 years before the Protestant Reformation

Now, The Question is
--- Why are we looking for some
--- "End of Time" ---    ::bowing:: ::preachit:: Monstrosity  ::preachit::
to arise at some future date
when both John and Paul said it was
Already in the Church in their day

Men Claiming to be Students of the Apostles,
Claiming Apostolic Authority

26 These things have I written to you, concerning them that seduce you.

as Paul writes
Deceived Men that now go forth Deceiving others
and
2 Tim. 3:13
13 But evil men and seducers shall grow worse and worse: erring, and driving into error.

John, when writing his 1st Epistle says this about some of their;
ahhhh  -- Students ---

1John 2:18
----- as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now are there many  ::preachit:: antichrists;  ::preachit::
And that Ladies
was 1500 years before the so called
Protestant Reformation

He is twisting like a corkscrew trying to claim that Students of Apostles (those they taught) are actually "Ministers of Satan".

According to his theory Timothy and Titus (and presumably those trained by Timothy and Titus) are "Minsters of Satan".

Bonkers

Nauggghhhh
just a few of these guys

Acts 15:1
And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said,
Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them,
........
5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying,
That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

yadda -yadda - yadda and probably a whole bunch more things as well

Question ::::
Who were these ahhh "Pharisees" ???
Matt.23:1
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Saying,

The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe,
that observe and do
;........

Maybe this Guy, he  sounds just like those described by Christ in  Matt.ch. 23
3 John  vs 9
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes,
who loveth to have the preeminence among them,
receiveth us not.
10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth,
prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith,
neither doth he himself receive the brethren,
and forbiddeth them that would,
and casteth them out of the church.

or maybe a few of these Liars
Nicolaitans
Rev. ch. 2:

Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write;....
I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience,
and how thou canst not bear them which are evil:
and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles,
and are not, and hast found them liars
:.......

Now back to this
Question ::::
Who were these ahhh "Pharisees" ???
Matt.23:1
Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
Saying,

The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:
All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe,
that observe and do
;........

What was the Real Issue there ??
 ::pondering::
was it over
circumcision and the Law of Moses
-------- or --------
"Who" was going to have the final say in the Church

The Apostles or them Pharisees
setting in the Seat of Moses

http://www.gracecentered.com/christian_forums/catholic-forum/dominion-over/

Matt.20:25
Jesus called them unto him,
and said
,
Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles
exercise dominion over them,
and they that are great exercise authority  upon them.
But it shall not be so among you
:

____________________________________________ ________________________

Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling,
and to present you faultless
before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour,
be glory and majesty, dominion and power,
both now and ever. Amen.
