it is well known and accepted that most shepherds carry a staff - so guess what became of the staff of the 'good shepherd' and where it may be found - any comments - wincam

My guess is it was placed among other idolized icons, a cross affixed to it, gold plated, and given to some guy referred to as a spiritual father.  ::giggle::

Though I'm sure the original staff withered and decayed after serving it's purpose, the gift of shepherding has been passed on to many along with the metaphorical staff.

just in case any may be interested it was used as a stake to stake a claim to ENGLAND for Christianity and Christ - it has taken root and whilst all else around is dying it blooms and blossoms at Christmastide for all with eyes to see and ears to hear as it declares "I AM THE    RESURRECTION AND LIFE" - wincam

Ok...seriously?

It sounds like a fairy-tale.  Do people *honestly* believe this kind of stuff?  Why does the staff declare that it is the resurrection and the life?
