I have had two of my threads locked due to others' flaming back and forth.

I believe this is their intent in the first place.  The OP is not discussed by these flamers.

Rule 2.1

b. Baiting where a member harasses another member to the point where he or she might retaliate in a flame.

I would rather much prefer that you delete the flaming posts rather than to lock my thread.

There's been a lot of this in the End Times forum, I agree.

There is discussion of the creation of a seperate forums for preterism, postmillennialism, and dispensationalism, though it hasn't seemed to gain much traction yet.

Secondary usernames created solely for the purpose of flaming have been banned, along with 1 user who was particularly intractable with flaming and baiting.

Things should be better today than yesterday.
