I finished the book two nights ago. Interesting! There is at least two subjects that you and Joe need to add. I saw almost
everything I could imagine I wanted to know except
1. What will we wear in Heaven in the way of clothes? Will there be clothing factories in Heaven
If we are a combination of a renewed and combined physical/spiritual body that is capable of amazing things, is there really any need for physical clothing? If the Garden was representative of Heaven in the creation and Adam and Eve were created naked and they were not ashamed and God considered his workmanship good, is there a message in that since no one will marry and be given in marriage and they will be as the angels? Sounds like a crazy way of thinking but in all honesty, after reading the book, that is one thing that jumped into my mind. What exactly will we wear in the next life?
2. I was involved in a rather heated dicussion once on whether we will still be given the opportunity (or temptation) to sin when in Heaven or would we have the sin nature stripped away and the thoughts of wanting to or desiring to sin taken away? Will we still have to struggle with the old rememberances of what our sinful lives were like which, to me, would be extremly hellish. I have my own opinions but I would love to know what Joe thinks on that.
I think Joe is very correct in that we all have some of the same thoughts and feelings he has experienced and written about regarding what Heaven will be like. Enjoyed the book!
Of course, these thoughts could be the Texas heat has fried my brains after loading about a ton of dirt and rock from my backyard into a small trailor and dumping it in the last two days!
