After I have to give The Government 50% for taxes I would do the following:

1. Take about $200,000 and buy a few ETS's on the market betting the against the housing market, Oil, Etc. (I have already done this). Basically all the Obama lovers will get their payback within 24 months when this economy crashes. If you think the last 12 months have been tough, you have seen nothing yet. By doing this, I could easily put over one million or more in my bank account.

2. Sale and move to a place away from the big cities like an Idaho, colorado or Wyoming. and also have a small place out of country in safe haven, stable economy, govt, little crime. Sale and make money or break even moving and drop $150,000 on safe haven

3. Create non-profit and do ministry full time (Plan to)  $100,000  but create on in a way to be self supportive (Key) to do full time ministry and any donations are gravy

4. When market/economy crashes totally at bottom put $200,000 in long term blue chips with all if safe again

5. Give $100,000 away to homeless kids: Food, clothes, christian education

6. Hold 200,000 cash

7. rest on kids education and stay debt free

Tetsat, I see you are certaunky not a man of God as you have not included God in your expenditure of $1 million!  Consider that if you tythed the million dollars, by giving God the first 10% of it, all the things you plan to do with the remaining 90% will be more blessed.

If you do not tythe everything that comes into your hand, it will not bring you prosperity.  So remember, with all gains that comes into your hand first give God 10% of it, before you use ithe remainder for anything else.

I have been praying for 4 years for a bigger house (ours here in the UK is SOOOOO tiny and with 4 adults we are so squashed.) so,I would  buy a house. I would give much away, probably at least 10% to charities or Christian causes, 10% to our children, and some more to my brother who is struggling financially after his wife divorced him.I would treat my friends to things as I LOVE giving things to people. If there was any left I would save a bit for when we retire.

First of all.. you seem to have a problem reading.. as he is putting 20% up for charity..

Secondly, tithing in the New Covenant is not required.. your local church shouldn't need $1 of your money.. the money belongs to the Lord and not the church.

If I suddenly got a million bucks.. I would semi retire and set up a real mission agency to the local community.

And getting a million bucks is going to be pretty much a reality for me within the next 10 years or so.. so I have done a lot of thought about it.

How does one give God 10% Of $1,000,000.00?   How does one ever give God 10%?    If it doesn't go into the collection plate it isn't given to God?

cant agree at all. We give often give to things that are not in the collection plate, but are to Christian ministries. One we have recently given to are a ministry that reaches out to young offenders, and another was to help get a good Christian channel on the radio. There are loads and loads of things we can do that I would see as being to God. If we give to a friend in need that is another way of doing that or to help the homeless, or those in another country that are starving and have no medical care. The list is endless.

Hey Lifesaver,

Where do you think the money comes to do this?

3. Create non-profit and do ministry full time (Plan to)  $100,000  but create on in a way to be self supportive (Key) to do full time ministry and any donations are gravy

True only 500,000 to 600,000 left after taxes, but if you count my numbers they are higher. They are higher because I made more with the future crash and did my tithe. 10% of 500,000 after taxes is only 50,000   I would and will spend more.

I do my 10% every two weeks brother and more

Tantor, no, I do not have a problem reading.Did you know that for tythe to be tythe, it has to be deducted from all financial gain that passes through your hands - FIRST - before every other expense.

If tetsat regarded giving to charity etc. as his tythe, then he should state it as such; and, moreover, as No. 1 certainly, not as any other number after that.

Tythe is used to help continue and carry out the work of God, so you can give it to whatever organisation, church, or use it yourelf for that purpose - whom you believe carries out the work of God.

If you do not separate the FIRST 10% as tythe to God, then you cannot expect the remaining 90% to be blessed.  It is as simple as that, no excuses.  It does not mater even that you us 50, 70% or even the whole 100% to save the world ..., your use of the money will not blessed, if you do not first separate your tythe.!

1. Tell no one
2. Go to a financial advisor
3. Investigate my favorite charity -to make sure my money is being used wisely there - now my monthly $100 isn't worth the trouble - I'm just trusting them with such a small amount.
4. Once everything is in place with my money earning money -  fly coach to do missionary work hopefully with my present favorite charity. And see first hand where I could funnel money the best without depleting it.
At the same time keeping my cards close to my vest.

But, I wish it were more than a million. That's pretty small.

Telling no one is tough there Elaine.

But it would be essential.

But then it would be time to get passport and visa together...and go do that mission work....at least get a healthy start on it. Maybe bring a couple of guys with to assist. (The work just shifts it never stops)

But no matter.

Ain't gonna happen. If God wanted me cursed in such a fashion he likely woulda done it by now anyway.
