Denver to DC Walk for truth Leaving late Feb
« on: Sat Jan 13, 2007 - 20:13:25 »
Feb. 2007 Elliott Nesch and Raymond Schwab are walking from Denver Colorado to Washington D.C. This March for Truth is based on:

The truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the need for all people to repent and turn to the Lord that healing may come to our nation. We must be a country which embraces justice, righteousness, and truth, and be vigilant in the responsibility of preserving the American Republic from apathy, tyranny, and immorality.

The truth of the poor testimony of the Evangelical church in America who when surveyed was listed as the number one supporter of the war in Iraq and illegal practices and policies of the Bush administration without debate, reservation or caution. Not only has the church failed to be the voice of truth and reason but has sent its sons and daughters to be soldiers of this secular battle rather than supporting the widow and orphan, building the church in Iraq, preaching the gospel of peace, holding our government to righteous standards, and holding the President accountable for his behavior since he claims to be a born again Christian. This blind loyalty is not only dangerous, but it is also a blot on the name of Christ and his testimony to the nations affected by our countries poor domestic and foreign polices post- 911.

The truth of the unanswered questions surrounding the terrorist attacks on 9/11 2001. More and more contrary facts have emerged, challenging the official story, from reputable scientist, scholars, and government officials. These unanswered questions, such as what happened to building seven, are critical due to the fact that 911 was the pretext for the current conflict in both Afghanistan and Iraq. We ask for a new independent council to be demanded by the Congress and for the church to not hide its head in the sand concerning these matters since we are lovers of truth, no matter what the cost. History has shown what happens when the church becomes blind to government atrocities and propaganda.

Evangelicals should be ashamed of their leader’s war cries. We desire to discuss/ debate this issue in the churches and cities through which we travel on the way to Washington. We will present a petition of Grievances to the President of the United States and ask for a clear plan of withdraw from Iraq and Afghanistan as well as his resignation as we withdraw our support since he has failed to do his job. We will rally in the state Capitols of Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Pennsylvania seeking Congress to exercise its separation of power in demanding a clear plan of withdraw in the middle east, assigning a truly independent council to investigate the unanswered questions surrounding 9-11, and hold the executive branch responsible for flagrant and wanton violations of the Geneva Convention, International Law, The Bill of Rights, and criminal law. This is not a partisan issue. It is about the integrity of the American people. It is about the truth.

Wouldn't it be more appropriate for them to walk from the grassy knoll, through Roswell, to Area 51?

It sounds, from your post above, as if you believe our government was behind the planning and carrying out of the attacks on 9/11, or at least knew about it and did not try to stop the attack.  That idea alone ruins your credibility.  Wake up, rise from the dead, and the Son will shine on you, brother Raymond.

It would not shock me to know that somewhere, somehow, well before 9/11, some government sub-sub-sub-flunky in some damp-walled office under the sub-basement in some forgotten government listening post somewhere --

Did hear one of the 9/11 highjackers on a scratchy cellphone discussing his will or his life insurance or the $$$ he was paid for a mysterious upcoming job, re: how it was going to help his family.

Maybe there was even a snippet or a snatch of anti-patriotic talk... like how this government here is so sinful and not doing God's will... no, wait, that was BrotherRaymond the guy heard, scratch that ...  Where was I?

Oh, yeah -- It would not shock me at all the hear that among the mountains and reams and bales and miles of tape and paper our government collects DAILY about possibly maybe questionable communications overheard --

It would not amaze me at all to know that our government knew all about the whole 9-11 plan, in detail.  If only we could have somehow tweezed out the three or four PARAGRAPHS of revealing information about it for maybe 5 years, among the galaxy-sized mound of other information the world tossed by us in that time!

Maybe after processing the gazillions of pounds of information from 2001 -- say about in 2025 we ought to have had time to process it all -- Maybe by THEN we can put together the whole sordid scenario, about how our government had all the necessary information to know exactly what was coming on 9-11.  If only the highjackers had waited 25 years so we could process all the garbage and winnow out the facts.

Geez, BrotherRaymond, you have your tinfoil hat on too tight.

I hope to God you microscopically examine all your family's clothing and food and income.

No, not because your conspiracy theories will come true and someone will be out to get you somehow --

But because someone who latches onto ONE miserable rallying-point and flogs it to bloody DEATH had better by God be consistent!

There better not be ONE coffee bean in your house that was grown by any farmer who did not participate in a United-Nations-Approved non-exploitative farming co-op!

Your kids had BETTER NOT own a soccer ball -- every one of the blasted things that does not explicitly state it was made in the USA was in fact made by a tiny underfed brown child practically chained to his sewing machine in a Third World country.

And y'all's shoes!  Made in China, if you don't watch it!  Don't you know it is still legal for the Chinese government to persecute Christians to death and arrange for forced abortions?  Don't you dare buy a thing from there!

And have you talked to your boss about examining the books for the business you get your income from so you can approve or disapprove the Godliness level of all the money that runs through the business?  I mean, just so you can know your paycheck is clean.

In fact, BrotherRaymond, if you are going to maintain a Christlike evenness and consistency in your gung-ho advocacy, you and your family had better be basically naked and eat only what you grow and catch yourself on your own land.

And only then if you have a deed for your land from your local Indian tribe.

Lord have mercy.  Christ have mercy.  Lord have mercy.

Come on on Janine,

Don't you think that you are being a little hard on Brother Raymond?

In the minds of the Indians every land was common property.  It wasn't until the white man offered to pay the Indians for the land that the idea of ownership was even considered.  So as you can see, by my outstanding logic and historical  knowledge of all things pre-colonial America, he really doesn't need a deed for his land from his local Indian tribe.

So give him a pass on that one.

They need to give him a deed, anyway, because these days they need all their extra land for casinos.

Just curious, have any of you seen any coverage of their walk on the news.  Personally, I haven't.  I guess with all of Nancy Pelosi's shenanigans, there is not much time left on the news to cover this walk!
