Wow, you guys make me feel like a freak! Lol.  My wife worked as a waitress and was on her feet all day.  Used to be a fairly common occurrence that after she got cleaned up that I would rub lotion into her feet and yes, even trim her nails for her when it was needed.  Didn't seem odd to me at all and she enjoyed it.

Good post, Gary.  I thought of the Ferengi when I read her post on chewing food!  Do you have big, sharp, knarly teeth and other things like they do?!!!   Rolling on floor laughing

Yes.  And I have the lobes for business.

Does your wife cut your nails and if so, was she born in America?

I think thats sweet..I dont think its "odd" at all.

I was thinking more along the lines in my head when the OP asked like the husband says .."honey..its time to clip my nails they're getting scraggly..and the wife says O.K be there in a minute..LOL!

Sounds like with your wife she really needed the attention to her feet due to a rough day.If feels so much better for some reason for someone else to massage your feet than doing it your self.It relaxes you.

Love

My brother's wife is Korean, and one of the things I love about her culture is how they care for each other, esp. for their seniors.  I don't know if this is a mutual thing in her culture.  She has all sisters.  My brother cares for her in these intimate ways.  She's also had cancer (rectal cancer), and he has been her caregiver through a lot of serious sickness and surgeries.

It is beautiful to me.
