So I met this woman and we clicked like never before. Long story short she is married but they recently were separated. He cheated on her.
So she separated from her husband after you two met?
Guess what, my wife and I clinked when we first met 52 years ago. Most relationships do, so what you have said adds nothing to the fact that she a married woman. Btw, after 52 years my relationship with my wife IS BETTER than then! The grass being greener on the side means nothing with feelings and sight~there might just be a sewer line hidden from one's sight, and a good chance it will be....sewer lines make grass greener as we all should know, but some fools do not know.
He cheated on her.
How do you know that to be true? She just may be saying that to justify herself cheating, and the whorish spirit~good chance she is.
She says he works long hours but he doesn't have to. She thinks he's cheating because he's always hanging out with a3 female co-worker.
This sounds like a person making up a story to do what their heart really want to do themselves. Of course, when anyone is seeking an affair with a married person, they deserve all they get, including lies and even death, which could very well happen and has happened many times.
we talked as friends
That's done in hope of a relantionship
most of the time~a married person is OFF LIMIT period.
We talk about being together but she doesn't want to just leave her marriage.
Well let us be honest, that's you are talking to her about leaving and she HAS NO REASON to leave her husband most likely! She enjoys playing the whore, and she would do the same to you, trust me, and why would she not? Because you are more of a lover, do not fool (deceive) yourself.
I feel like a hypocritical fool.
How about an adulterous man? That is a terrible sin and should be punish and was back in the days of Job~
Job 31:9-11~"If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door; Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her. For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges."
What recommendations do you have for us at this point?
Not US , but YOU~repent of this heinous crime
(that's what God calls it) and ask God for forgiveness.
You probably were not asking for this but married is one of the holiest things that one will make a commitment to, and if not faithful in this, then that person cannot be trusted in anything~if one does not love their wife, or husband, then they cannot love anyone.
