Men worshiping and praising God
« on: Tue Apr 26, 2016 - 23:22:20 »
Hey guys i'm Danni and a long time church goer. I was lucky to be raised Christian and in that environment I learned as a child that it was right and required to worship. Psm 89:14-15. "Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you who walk in the light of your presence, O Lord They rejoice in your name all day long they exult in your righteousness."

Psm 107: 1 " Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever"

Amen isn't God's word wonderful to instruct us and encourage us towards righteousness. Just have a couple questions for you guys.
Do you always sing at your church service or are you skipping that step because you don't know the words or feel embarrassed to sing something so beautiful?
Also are you praising God with your whole heart because that is what matters. Not weather you hit every note or word right, but how you feel in your heart when you are giving praise? ::clappingoverhead::

Well just consider these two questions and let me know where you are at with your praising practice. I also want to encourage you to worship and praise with your whole heart and if that means singing loudly and raising your hands or even dancing it jumping so be it. God loves the sacrifice of praise and don't worry what your neighbor thinks. He or she will probably be encouraged by your renewed vigor for praise and join in. Praise be to God.

Yes, I try to focus on just God and sing or even dance at times. My church is very open in spirit filled worship. But it's important to not look at others and feel competitive because we worship differently at times.
