Unneeded surgery

My girlfriend is thinking of getting a cosmetic surgery ( breast size reduction - for reasons of comfort and ease ) i have tried to argue that this would be mutilating the form God has given her but she says i am just trying to make her choose a form more pleasing to me sexually than one that is more comfortable to her....and i cannot disagree that is what all my arguments seem to sound like. i am not sure what to do with this.

Be encouraging for her to get the surgery.  She has to put up with them on a constant basis - you don't.  If it was for vanity's sake, then it probably would be sinful.  But for a practical reason I do not see that as sinful at all. 

Have you ever cut off a hangnail?  Had surgery for an ingrown toenail?

When you say "comfort and ease" you are not giving her any credit at all.  I have friends who have had the surgery and it wasn't just "mild discomfort" it was painful.  If you truly love her, you will support her 100%.

hmmm she has a genetic condition that causes extremely excessive growth in....that area.....so i suppose it could be justified as a medical condition.

It sounds like you guys are already engaging in activity that isn't pleasing to God. If she's worried about you staying pleased sexually, then you've probably already seen parts of her anatomy that you shouldn't have before marriage. Otherwise, you'd have nothing to compare it to and the reduction wouldn't be so mortifying for you. Fixing that issue should be your primary focus. On a practical level, if she has really large breasts (my wife is in the G's) then she will experience shoulder, neck and back pain that can be excruciating to the point of debilitating. She may also begin to experience migraines from the stresses on the musculoskeletal system. If she really wants this, I see no problem with it. Your "mutilating God's creation" argument rings hollow. It reeks of self-preservation, and thinking of yourself. Your focus should be on her. If you truly love her, you'll stop the premarital sex and support her surgery.

I would recommend asking her to try all of the alternatives fist. Such as loosing wait or change of diet, working out to build up mussels and so on. surgery Should always be the last thing you do.
