We sang this song in church Sunday.  It is one of my favorite.  The whole congregation rose spontaneously to lift their voices to the Lord.  I wish I could offer the music as well.  It would lift one right out of his/her seat in praise.

Quote
Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble

Did you feel the mountains tremble?
Did you feel the oceans roar?
When the people rose to sing of,
Jesus Christ the Risen One.

Did you feel the people tremble?
Did you feel the singers roar?
When the lost began to sing of,
Jesus Christ the Saving One.

And we can see that God You're moving,
A mighty river through the nations
Where young and old return to Jesus,
Fling wide you heavenly gates,
Prepare the way of the Risen Lord!

(chorus)
Open up the doors and let the music play.
Let the streets resound with singing.
Songs that bring your hope,
And songs that bring your joy.
Dancers who dance upon injustice.

Do you feel the darkness tremble?
When all the saints join in one song,
And all the streams join as one river
To wash away our brokenness.

And here we see that God You're moving.
A time of jubilee is coming.
And young and old return to Jesus
Fling wide you heavenly gates,
Prepare the way of the Risen Lord

Ephesians 2:8-10  Who saves, how He saves, why He saves.

"8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith–and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God– 9not by works, so that no one can boast. 10For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."

I love that song. James has it on one of his cd's. I can't remember who is singing it though. It does make you want to get up and sing. The way it's sung is very powerful and beautiful.

I need to get over here more, I thought this was the Praise and Worship thread, but that was pretty funny...

Thanks so much.   I love it without hearing it even.

It was originally recorded by Delirious (Martin Smith, the writer, is the vocalist for Delirious).

You can find it more than one of their CD's, I think, but originally in the US on their disc "Cutting Edge", I believe.

It's also been recorded by quite a few others as well.

Has anyone ever Googled it or otherwise searched for it, and found a sample clip of it?  I would loveto hear it.
