The Image of God in a Child
« on: December 16, 2011, 10:17:30 PM »
I would like to share a recent experience I had with the Lord. I was led by the Lord to a little girl named Jackie Evancho, who won 2nd place on America's Got Talent. Now....I never even watched that show, but I saw this young 11 year old girl sing on a Wal-mart commercial promoting her Music CD. I was amazed at her voice, so I looked into it. I researched her on the internet. Well, I listened and listened to many songs, and I picked three Godly songs that I felt an annointing from the Lord on. Then, I just couldn't get enough, I felt God's presence through this little girl, and there was something special about this. So I just kept listening and watching this little girl sing these three songs as I felt God's glory rise up in them which just flowed through my veins. Then, in a moment of meditation, as I was doing something in the kitchen, God spoke to me like a friend in a sort of a sweet whisper about that little girl. He said,

He chose her and put her there in front of the world to display Himself. He wanted people to see His image in her. He used a child to show a purity and an innocence that our hearts desire to have, that He can give this to us, and wash us clean of all impurity and make us like a child. He wanted to reach that place in people and draw them to Himself, as we receive the kingdom as a child.

Wow, it was so beautiful to hear God's voice so sweet to share this with me.

In this video of the song "Pie Jesu", you see a woman's heart being touched in this very way. By the Lord Jesus. It's so sweet too that the song is sung in another tongue (Latin),

{Merciful Jesus, Merciful Jesus, Merciful Jesus, Merciful Jesus, you who take away the sins of the world, grant them peace, grant them everlasting peace Lamb of God, Lamb of God, Lamb of God, Lamb of God, you who take away the sins of the world, grant them peace, grant them everlasting peace, everlasting, peace everlasting}

So the mercy of Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world is being spoken into the spirit of so many people. This is a great and wonderous work of the Lord! He is to be praised!

"Pie Jesu"

It's important that you watch her as she sings, you will see the Image of God, because He put it there in her. I have included two other songs here that I feel are annointed by the Lord.

"The Lord's Prayer"

"To Believe"
I have included the words to this song.....

Before I lay me down to rest
I ask the Lord one small request
I know I have all I could need
But this prayer is not for me
Too many people on this day
Don't have a peaceful place to stay
Let all fighting cease that your children may see peace
Wipe their tears of sorrow away

(Chorus)
To believe in a day
When hunger and war will pass away
To have the hope amidst despair
That every sparrow's counted
That you hear each cry and listen to each prayer

Let me try always to believe
That we can hear the hearts that grieve
Please help us not ignore
The anguished cries of the poor
Or their pain will never leave

(Chorus plus)
To believe in a day
When hunger and war will pass away
To have the hope amidst despair
That every sparrow's counted
That you hear each cry and listen to each
Prayer {Hear each cry and listen to each prayer}
Help us do Your will oh Father
In the name of all that's true
And we'll see in one another
The loving image of You

I hope this touches all of you like it did me. It's so wonderful to share in the Goodness and Glory of God with all of His Children.
