In my haste to get my thoughts posted, I put them in Love and Marriage Relationships instead of Christian Singles, though it could be argued that it has merits for each category. However, I do think I placed it in the wrong forum, and I would like to ask you all if you could please take look at my thread, "A Single Issue"?

I can relate to your situation!! I'm not a very out going person either and hav'nt been in any relationships. I feel like a failure because of this. It's such a hard thing to overcome but you have to believe the Lord's looking after you and if he has someone out there for you then they will be a perfect match for you- and worth waiting for!! This is what I cling to anyway and hope it helps you!

you're completely right, nobody has been promised a perfect mate will show up at the door.  If it happens, then praise the Lord!  But is seems most of us live under the old saying that the Lord helps those who help themselves.

No need for confusion.  Men have been making the effort to find a good wife since time on this earth began.  Fair warning, the Good Book says a good woman is rare as rubies.
