I bet you will be surprised who you see in heaven and they will be thanking God that your vote did not count.  Of course once we are in heaven none of that will matter as our sin nature will go away.

When 'we' are in heaven??? Hello. The bible says that no sexually immoral person will enter the kingdom of God. 1 Cr 6:9

That means both perversion and fornication. To be a christian you have to actually be a christian rppearso. That means obeying Gods word. Something you keep purposly ignoring.

And the argument that we can sin all we like until we get to 'heaven' because our desire to sin will then just fade away is both unbiblical and ridiculous.

And I have to disagree with the trolling comment. It might have started out innocently enough, but I don't believe it is anymore.

 Clapping up high
Okay... let me help her...

First you told the brother there was no verse when he told you the bible said not to call someone "fool"

Then, when he quoted the verse to you... right out...  You asked him to prove it.

So, He proved it with Matthew 5:22...

and you ignored it and just let it go by... NOT admitting you erred when you said there WAS NO VERSE.

I posted that Matthew 5:22 was Bible 101 and you said you agreed.  Like you knew it all along.

And yet, you still have not told the brother, who rightly showed you the error of your remarks that you were wrong.

You did not make an error... You came right out and said there was NO SUCH VERSE.  Like that was truth.  Do you even READ the bible?

You need to man up and tell the brother he proved you wrong.  Because he did. But then again... You've been proven wrong so many times over and over again, and you don't seem to notice.. why should this time be any different.    Messing with you Messing with you Messing with you  If I can be of any further help in any way... Just let me know.

Thank you kensington. Although I must admit I am used to, and expect no less, from the world of which rppearso is a member. When the Word falls on deaf ears I will even attempt to use logic as a persuasion method...but when the world has its teeth in you...there is no intelligence anymore.

He is given over to God now. May he one day realize the error of his ways and return to the will of our Heavenly Father.

This seems like a lot of senseless arguing and bickering to me.  Why don't we stick to the topic instead of throwing mud at eachother.  I agree we should rebuke people who are in sin,  but doesn't the bible tell us to do it with a spirit of love?  It seems like alot of nastiness going back and forth here.

Love thy neighbor... Doh!

Perhaps "it seems" is not actually what occurred? I cannot speak for others, but I did make my best attempt to approach rppearso in love. Unfortunately, sometimes the truth hurts, which may have shown in his posts.

I agree here. It isnt loving to tell someone that what they are doing is ok is it? Sometimes strong words are needed even if they are ignored. I actually feel sorry for him in a way, as I feel that his life will never improve unless he starts to go Gods way and stops thinking of what he wants all the time. Did Paul mince his words when he wrote to churches about their sinful ways? Not one bit. He did it because he didnt wnat any of them to fall and didnt do it to be 'unloving'.

God does tell us things for a very good reason, we have the choice to obey or not but if we dont, then the outlook isnt bright. In fact the outlook usually is more trouble and strife until we actually do realise that His way is the only way. Then.............there is light and blessing.

Wooo NASCAR.....Is it getting warm in here? Well I see we have drifted....grrr adhd!

I have been in a place recently where a racing car driver is displayed out in the open. It is a place of business. The driver is Danica Patrick. In the photo she is not dressed for racing. On the contrary, she is dressed to set a man's heart racing. It is out in the open for everyone to see. Any man is going to look and I know women as well. She looks great. It does not take long and lust can come to life. It is normal. Where does this lead?

It comes down to a life of prayer and meditation. I have to have a life of worship and connection to my Father. I am surrounded by things that cause lust on a daily basis. What is the greatest longing? My highest aspiration is to be with my Father someday, but now to live in His presence. The world can give me a temporary enticement but it cannot fulfill my greatest longing.

Right now I have no love life. I look around and watch the news as see some who have allowed lust to consume them. They are not happy in relationship. Their focus in relationship is wrong because God is not at the center. If and when I start dating again I do not want a relationship where God is not at the center.  Praying hard
You lost me at Danica Patrick...

Now what was this thread about?  Oh yeah... Blushing
