 help!  What is your favorite online dating site?  Why do you like it?  Do you know anyone who met online and got married?  I personally know two couples who did just that through one of the dating services mentioned above.  Any success stories you have heard?

My friend and co-preschool teacher and her husband met on Eharmony.

They are a great couple and just had their first baby a couple of weeks ago.

They said it was a great site and are both really wonderful people. They said that the screening was great and that they matched them up really fast.

Can't say I have even seen one of these sites of course since my husband  of 30 years may not like that very much.  Wink

Not sure.

Back in my single days I had to rely on personals in the newspaper. I was fairly transient so nobody new me from Adam.

I remember meeting one from one of those freeby 'Thrifty Nichol' Ad nespapers. You know the kind that sit next to the exit doors in convenient stores.

I run RealChristianSingles.com, so I guess I'm biased. But I have busted my proverbial tail on the site and will be implementing huge changes in the next two to three weeks. We've had 4 marriages in the first year and as far as I know, all are very happy.

There's a match maker, forum, live chat, private message box and some other goodies with more on the way.

So, there ya go.

I have limited interaction regarding dating sites, being married --

But my other main webzine/message board website just did an informal count and they can say they've matched and married off over a dozen couples -- without trying.

I hear good things about eharmony 'cause of all the careful screening and matching etc.

I need to check out Lee's RealChristianSingles.com so I can recommend it.

I have been a member of RealChristianSingles for about a year.. I'm 56.. been widowed almost 12 years.. I must admit I haven't gotten a quality, sincere response yet.. most are young men or women Saint  LOL    I just joined Match.com because AOL is my provider right now.   Anyone know a sweet Christian man (preferably a widower) about my age?  LOL   I had a friend marry someone he met online last year... she left him about 5 months later.. I have known several who met on a widow/widower support chat that married.. some are together.. a few didn't make it.  I saw someone who I initially noticed on a website.. that is the one who married someone he met .. had only talked through IM and met twice before he flew down and married her.  One simply must spend REAL time with someone to really know them I think.

Oki, some might be like me.. I live in the country... way out!  I find the gas situation hindering being able to go much.   I am also not able to work at this time so the computer is my link to so many friends and people.

I quit going to those sites a long time ago.

I'd give a careful description of what I was looking for, but the ladies that responded were over a foot shorter than me.

I likes my wimmens tall! But, no problem, I'm now happily involved with a tall Christian woman who will soon be my wife.

It was God who gave her to me - I'm certain of that. I know it because I had quit looking in disgust long before.
