Welcome to these forums, nice to meet you.
I wish I had great advice for you, but as for me, when I was younger and a newer christian, and wanted to people to saved, I prayed of course, but also tried to do what came naturally for me.  I think you just gotta be you.
But what worked for me then would not work for me now because I am 15+ years older.  It would just be different.  Now I struggle with maintain my sanity around people lately.
Well anyway, I'm sure that ending isn't helpful, but just be you and pray God to direct you.  That's my two cents.

Hello and Welcome,

You need to say and know the correct words !  You need to know what you will be saying

will not make the person feel  let me alone !

I was a Christian, but the church I belonged to  was not into the bible as they

should be, so I was not saved....

But I did believe in all they told me which was not good, since they did not tell me to

use a bible.   So when some one came up to me to change what my belief was I was

saying  go away.    The church has now changed, but I want no part of it.

Our children got us out of it.

I went right away to a friend and tried to  help and save her,  I was new and should

not have done this  yet.    Now I am not sure  if she is saved.....

So please know what you are talking about !   And if a question  is asked you will

have a answer !    Blessing  to YOu  and I pray  you can do this.........  !  Amen !

Hello Lady Daffodil,

Yes  I was !   Till  my husband and I turned  in our 50's  .........

We were not going to often by then  and our one son  was looking for a church, our other
children we brought to the C. C.  but the last one  "son"  we were becoming  un safe  the
same thing over and over.   And we had to confess  [ to the priest ]  if we wanted to go to heaven.
Sure am glad for our children...  my husband is gone now, and I know he is   in  heaven.......

Back then  we had no idea !

I used to be Catholic too.  When my husband and I became members of a New Testament Christian Church, I was so relieved to learn that my salvation didn't depend on confessing to a priest, or doing good deeds, but on what Jesus did for me on the cross.  It was liberating!  Praise Jesus!   ::clappingoverhead::

They did not even have us use a bible ...........

I hear they now do .......  That sounds good...
