Some interesting claims that the Holy Spirit is a separated person by Jack Cottrell: by making the Spirit OF Jesus Christ a PERSON, that means that the Holy Spirit is about the size and looks of Jesus Christ.  No historic trinitarian taught this.

After reading this book it is very hard to understand how people come up with so many different ideas on what the spirit is.  If you can't except what the true definition of what a spirit is in the first place you may as well forget ever understanding what the spirit of God is.  I had a discussion with my 10 year old granddaughter about what a spirit is.  She had no problem understanding that a spirit is a mental disposition and we choose throughout life which 'spirits' we allow in our minds to make up our spirit.  She understands that she can have a 'holy spirit' if she allows the word of God or the mental disposition of God or His Spirit, to be in her mind and keeps evil spirits or evil dispositions out of her mind.  I just don't understand how people make this so complicated and turn it into such a mystery.  It sure complicates how people understand the scriptures!  This book makes understanding the spirit so simple if you are truly searching for truth.

Bunk!....Having an understanding of the Spirit/spirit does not "save" anyone. Understanding the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross is paramount in teaching Christ.
Having "the mind of Christ" was ONLY "promised" to those who "have been with me from the beginning" (John 15:27). Paul outlines this in depth in 1 Corinthians 2. He summarizes: "For who has know the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But WE (apostles) have the mind of Christ."

There is a significant between those who were promised "the mind of Christ" and those who study the Word. Paul said in Ephesians 1: "Having been made know unto US (apostles) the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself." Paul goes on to write, "In whom you also trusted, after that you HEARD the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that holy spirit of promise."

That "promise" is defined in Acts 2:39 AFTER obeying the words of the Spirit as spoken by the apostle Peter in verse 38. Man is NOT saved by having the indwelling of the Spirit....but, by the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross for ALL mankind. Salvation takes place  IN THE MIND OF GOD, the same place he is lost.
It is wonderful (I guess) to think highly of ones self; but , to have "the mind of Christ" is beyond conceit.

The rest of your post is fabrication.  One who IS baptized for the remission of SINS from THEIR spirit then have A holy spirit.

A Spirit is a mental disposition: for instance, you may have a spirit of a preacher but it is not another person inside

The same Peter called it A good conscience after we are SAVED by baptism since we aree too late to die on the cross.

Therefore, A holy spirit is A good conscience (Consciousness, co-perception) is OUR spirit made HOLY when the UNholiness is remitted or washed away

You CANNOT get Paul's mind which is the MIND of Christ unless you READ IT: even in paganism you never performed RHETORIC (a hypocritic art) or SANG to a masculine god.

Notice that the absolete command for the ekklesia/synagogue was to PREACH the word by READING the Word "which is written."  Therefore, WE understand and have the same MIND Paul had when we read HIS words.  READ is an absolute DEMAND.  If the word if filtered through a mercinary mind then it is called CORRUPTED which means "selling learning at RETAIL" which word defines hucksters and adulterers.

The MIND of Christ is absolutely available to us by HIS RECORDED MEMORY: it is NOT available if sermonized and versified which were two of the Catholic apostasies about the year 400.  Preachers and song writers ASSUME that they have more of the mind of Christ than He put in the Prophets and Apostles to which we are commanded to give heed (the only worship word) or they wouldn't CHARGE for the "free water of the Word" already paid for.
