I have a 1G iPod Shuffle.  Besides music it's usually got sermons on it.  Here's the list of podcasts I subscribe to:

Tulsa Int'l Workshop
Let My People think with Ravi Zacharias
Renewing the Mind with R.C. Sproul
Love Worth Finding with Adrian Rogers
Truth for Life with Alistair Begg (the one I listen to the most)
Prairie Home Companion

Just out of curiosity...

When you finally got your Tungsten E2 running, why did you need an iPod?

Surely, with a gig or two storage on an SD, it was suitable for walking around, listening to music and podcasts, and viewing photos and videos.

Just wondering... ::shrug::

I think I understand what you are saying...you have been using the Tungsten E2 primarily as a PDA, keeping track of tasks, appointments, contact info, etc.

However, if you should download and try the rest of the software that came on its CD, I think you would surprised at the nifty, pod-like applications that can be accessed, especially the Real Player for music and podcasts and Kinoma for video.  And its 320 x 320 resolution doesn't mess up photos too bad.

Just a suggestion.

Assuming your PalmDesktop disc is similar to that for my Tungsten E, it opens to "Discover Your Handheld."  Select "Install Essential Software", then pick and install the items you want from the list on the right (or left, for that matter.)

BTW, it is a little deceptive...The "Install All" button on the lower left seems to only install the programs on the upper left.  The others have to be installed (and usually registered) one at a time.

As mentioned before, if our software are similar, you would want Kinomo Player for video, RealOne for audio, and Palm Photos for...well...you know...

[Hopefully your photographic equipment uses SD storage, which would really facilitate your viewing...]
