Question about AOL.
« on: Thu Feb 11, 2016 - 17:51:46 »
Since AOL is considered a "dial-up" provider what I would like to know is do I need to maintain a phone line from my phone company to access AOL or will I still be able to access AOL if I decide to cancel my phone service?

Yes.

Without a phone line, you can't do dialup.

If you were to get cable internet, or dsl depending on the provider, you wouldn't need a phone line.
