How are the folks in India in handling Vista problems?

The Vista release is costing Dell some money. We were getting ready to order 10 new computers and Dell wouldn't offer them with XP so we are going with Gateway. We didn't care one way or the other but our IT department vetoed the purchase because they want Vista to be on the market at least a year before they start trying to support it.

Yeah, I just read that earlier today.  Also read that for two quarters in a row, Mac computer sales (not including iPods, etc.) are up 30% over the same quarters last year.  Market share (while still only single digit) is up a full point.  And unlike people fleeing Vista, users are clamoring for the slightly delayed Leopard.

Jus' sayin'. ::smile::

I saw the order for our section and others. The Dell decision came $87,000 too late because the Gateway order was placed before the announcement.

From everything I have heard about Vista, I see no good reason to switch from XP.

It's on my office computer...I see no reason to switch from XP either (but I've got Vista Basic, they don't give you the full OS for the normal price, you have to mortgage your children for the full version).

Ok, I thoght I had it figured out, but I don't.  Does anybody know how to manage ceritificats with Vista?  Every time I try to check my e-mail...not yahoo or hotmail, but my own e-mail using Horde for webmail, I get redirected to a windows page telling me the world will end if I choose to continue.
