Title: What is this and what is Bitninja?
Post by: mommydi on Tue Nov 20, 2018 - 06:05:39
Why does this keep popping up on my screen this morning? I've never seen it before, and when I google bitninja, I'm still not clear on what it is.

Certainly different from the usual 503 errors.

Bitninja is legit, they are a server security company. https://bitninja.io/ (https://bitninja.io/)

Kinda odd that they use the ".io" ccTLD. Most have used it for hacking sites or for registering personal URLs like rub.io which was an abbreviation to the Marco Rubio campaign.

The .io domain is British Indian Ocean  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Indian_Ocean_Territory (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Indian_Ocean_Territory)
