walker starr - I discovered a way to make the cheaper cuts of steak, like chuck for instance, as tasty and tender as fillet Mignon.  The flavor is already there its just tough as an old boot.   Lay your chuck steak flat on a cutting board, take a cleaver and pound the thing in both directions then turn it over and repeat cleaver pounding.  then saute in a hot greased skillet.  Its for tender and delicious.  The shorter time its in the skillet the more tender it it.  You gotta love it.

larry2 - I take it that you don't cleaver pound to the consistency of a hot dog? Though I like hot dogs.   Smile
