I prefer chefless salad.  Too much grissle and bone in chef salads.

We must have different salads in mind then.  What do you put in your chef salad?  I don`t have bone, nor grissle in mine and its marvelous.

I made a nice big pot of CHILI with fresh roasted chili peppers.  The usual ground beef and ground pork ,tomato's and
mystery ingredient which I will now reveal--semisweet chocolate.  I shared with friends, ( yes I still have some).
a good time was had by all.  They brought cornbread and desert.   GOD Bless

Stew and chili, yum, and walker chocolate in chili? I have had nothing, because we had chicken and rice. I had my Carmel rice cakes again. Food obsessions (LOL). Somebody mentioned that to me the other day. Picky does not even describe it.  eek!

Recently, I purchased a Romano's Macaroni package from a local grocery. It comes with seasonings, sauce, and pasta. You have to add chicken or what you choose to add. The package was Chicken Alfredo. I tried shrimp instead. I sauteed some large shrimp with butter, garlic, and olive oil before adding the ingredients from the box. (Just a little butter and olive oil.) The pasta has to be boiled and added before adding to the shrimp. I cleaned, deveined, and marinated the shrimp in some white wine for about an hour before cooking. Cooking wine will work or chicken broth.

The dish was awesome. The flavor was just as great if not better than what I have tasted in Olive Garden or Romano's. Next time I am going to add some julienned carrots. I like dishes like this with garlic bread.  Chef

Oh, i bet you couldn't wait for the garbage to be picked up though. See, i would use the Chicken. I would never clean shrimp!
Well, anyway, that sounds good.

And for dessert?

Chocolate cream pie!  Yummy

Tonight If I can get up out of this chair I will have one of my favorites.
TTake one large onion .  Slice it as thin as you can.  Place in skillet
over high burner.  saute until carmelized , its ok if a litttle is burned.
Empty skillet into plate salt and Yummmmm. No worries

Onion. Interesting. How do you keep it from stinking up the house?

(Obviously I am not a fan of onions. If I *have* to use them for a recipe, I use dried onion. A very small amount of them. But I am open to something different. Perhaps I could dunk it in chocolate? I don't know, what do you think?)
