You prove it not .... you cannot

And while you are at it show that Ezekiel's war is the same as the one presented in Revelation 20:7-10 .... you can't do this either .... give it your best shot

Satan is "gog" in both passages of scripture which view two different wars separated by 1000 years

According to you "gog" is a human .... so tell me about your human "gog" .... who is it according to scripture and to the conspiracy buffs that you frequent who find him behind every bush

Tell me about this 1000 year old man and give scriptural support for your story

So let's start here:

You tell me who "gog" is in Ezekiel 38 ..... and who "gog" is in Revelation 20:8

You say that "gog" is a man

You explain to the forum how a human living at the time of the end of this age will live again 1000 years later

I want to see the scriptures that tell of this specific human's resurrection from the dead to cause another rebellion against the Lord after being dead for 1000 years

.... and we all know that it is appointed for a man once to die .... and then the judgment

Not true of fallen angelic beings like Satan .... they live from their creation until they are destroyed in the lake of fire at the end of the Lord's coming millennial kingdom

What you fail to understand is the repetitive literary symbolism of the prophetic verses

The Lord addresses Satan as "gog" in Ezekiel 38 [Ezekiel 38:17] as the one who will come against Israel as spoke by the other prophets of old .... yet there is not one other prophet uses the term "gog"

.... but it is Satan who is described as the one who stands behind the human kings who are identified by the same prophets

And "magog" is the Lord's symbol for the rebelling nations in both Ezekiel 38 and Revelation 20

And when the 1000 years come to a close it will be Satan [gog] again who will deceive and cause another human rebellion of the nations [magog] of the millennium

Until you get this straight, you will never be able to unravel the ball of yarn that you have been taught by those who cling to the prophetic interpretation of the reformation theologies

See again scripture doesn't say the prophets mentioned the name Gog
it says: the prophets spoke if this invasion before!

Micah 5:5 was written about 150 years before ezekiel

this is Gog the prophets spoke of!

And you cannot prove that this is not Satan KB .... you have no real scriptural support  

Neither do I buy your Micah 5 logic .....

You are wrong about the dating, and even then all of the prophets see future end time events regardless of when their visions were recorded .... Micah 5 is a vision of the future time of the end of this present age .... things that have never yet taken place

.... and you need to know that it is the Lord Himself who speaks through His prophets .... He is the Author of all of this

You also have a tendency to follow preteristic teaching which has you far off track with a number of your interpretations of the prophetic visions as I observe your posting [you attempt to put Micah 5's view of the the time of the end of this present age in to the past]

Here is the insidious plan of Satan [gog] when he will be cast to the earth at the time of the end"

He will attack the Lord's nation of Israel thinking that he can prevent His second coming to bring His millennial kingdom upon the earth which will be centered in Israel

This devil will confiscate the land of Israel, Jerusalem, and the temple mount .... and give it to the Muslims of the Middle East


.... and this is the layering of the devil's own making:

Satan is called "gog" in Ezekiel 38; 39

Who will give his power and authority to his angelic beast [Abaddon-Appolyon] of Revelation's unfolding

Who in turn will manifest himself [fully possess] in the human little horn of Daniel's visions.... a king of the northern Middle East

And it is this beast [both angelic and human] who will contend with the Lord at Armageddon and perish

All of the prophets see all or parts of this end time drama

And Satan [gog] will live on in the abyss [where Abaddon-Apollyon was before his release release at the beginning of the coming tribulation period] .... and this same devil, after losing at Armageddon, will be released to cause another human rebellion 1000 years later .... that is .... "gog [Satan]  and magog [the rebelling nations]" .... a repeating of the Lord's revealing of Ezekiel 38's drama 1000 years in the past

If you cannot see this parallel account of Ezekiel and Revelation .... you will never understand the correct rendering of the Lord's more sure word of prophecy

Have either of you considered that maybe Gog and Magog are related to Og the king of Bashan?
