I'm not sure what I think on this really!!!

The bible does say that we will be taken up with/to Him, so I wonder how this will happen!!!
It would certainly be a sight to see if all of the believers suddenly vanished.

Think I'm just eternally greatful to be taken at all  ::amen!::

I believe in the pre-trib rapture.

Comment deleted - PM sent. Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, 2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition
2 Thess 2:1-3 (KJV)

The Catholics invented the pre-trib rapture by removing the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy and making it an end prophecy. Comment deleted  You can't change scripture to suit your whim.    Jesus will come at the Last Trump during tribulation. Here is the last trump:
The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever
Rev 11:14-15 (KJV)

The Lord promised that we would be kept from the Tribulation hour. What do you do with this verse?

Rev 3:10   "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

The word "from" in the original Greek is "ek" which means "out of". The Geek word for through is different.

It should read:  "I also will keep you "out of" the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

We're all guessing when it comes to the time of the rapture.  I know that there will be a rapture because God's wrath is not for His people.  If you have studied the various scenarios believed by Christians then you well know that Christians are divided as to the timing.  Some think the tribulation starts before the seven years; some believe the entire seven years is God's wrath; some believe the first half of the tribulation period is Satan's time; some believe God's unleashed wrath does not begin until the 3 1/2 years have ended and the second half is when God's unleashed wrath begins.  When we disagree on these things this is no reason to say that others don't believe the Word or deny the truth of the word.  The truth is that we're not told all things so we don't know all things.  That's the honest answer.  That's the only honest answer.

Paul speaks of what we call the Great Tribulation in the epistles to the Thessalonians.  They in the church at Thessalonica argued over timing.   Most were expecting Christ's return at any time, and some questioned whether or not they had missed Christ's return.   Paul said that there would be a time of lawlessness before Christ would return.  I don't think we have a full comprehension of that.  That time of lawlessness is a time when people on this Earth generally have no concern for the things of God.  I think we're getting closer to that time but God restrains until we get to that point and He takes His people out of here to protect them from His unleashed wrath.  I think that the pre-wrath position is a viable position.  Those who accept that believe that God will take His people out of here just before He unleashes His own wrath, from which He will protect His people.

::applause:: Thank you for stating your OPINION, but, REALLY?   "The Catholics invented the pre-trib rapture by removing the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy and making it an end prophecy."  Would you mind stating that in the Catholic Forum?  I dont think you are going to see ANY Catholics agreeing with you.

I'd be interested in seeing what comments you deleted.  They must have been pretty bad for you to have deleted them yourself.  ::smile::
