I Thessalonians 4:15
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

When Paul wrote those words, he was led by the Holy Spirit.  Had he meant "those who are alive" ,  he would have said "those who are alive"
You are (ignorantly or purposefully) ignoring the fact the apostle was identifying himself with the believing community.

It is the same with the Passover story.  it is not when THEY came out of Egypt; rather it is when WE came out of Egypt.  Part of the community regardless of what century it is or who was actually alive at the time.

Yes, a perfectly understood acceptance of identifying with a given group.

A modern day example would be if you were talking to someone about a specific sports game and they asked you "Who won"?, and you would reply WE won.... meaning the team you supported. No one would think you had actually played in the game.

or if you are talking with folks from another church about missionaries you might say "We will be having a group to go to wherever on mission work in whatever time span, even though you may not be alive when that happens. You are part of the church who will have that experience, therefore it is appropriate.

Yes, the GOSPEL is our "Good News". But its complete fulfillment won't come til after a time of great trouble on earth, and a millenium during which mortals shall live free of Satan.

Notice how you can't take knowing that our "Good News" now is complete?

Notice the bad news garbage you add to it?

You shouldn't worship Revelation so much and you might find fulfilled grace in the Gospel today.

Who cares about your bad news predictions?  You can claim that all for yourself.

Not everyone can claim a charmed, perfect life for themselves without trials like you do.

If it all was completed in 70AD, then it was a failure for the rest of humanity.

What an ignorant assessment of someone you don't even know!

What, Watson, was a complete failure for the rest of humanity?

And the post wasn't an answer to you but you were aggressive anyway just trying to upstage me!

Your 'garbage' was added by GOD to His word.

I don't worship it. I BELIEVE it as part of God's word, without adding to it or subtracting from it.

YOU (and everyone else) should, as it's part of GOD'S word, not mine.

No, YOU are, by not believing His word.

If you're as all-around silly as your "religion" is, you'd be lucky to bind your own shoes if they had velcro fasteners.

What an ignorant assessment of someone you don't even know!

The more you say things that are totally unprovable, the more you ARE known.

What, Watson, was a complete failure for the rest of humanity?

Not a failure. But one that has twisted things to suit his beliefs. Not at all unlike Joseph Smith or Ellen White or David Koresh or even Marshall Applewhite.
All of whom had a validity in their presentations but fought the way the inspired holy words were written.

And the post wasn't an answer to you but you were aggressive anyway just trying to upstage me!

If the truth is on your side, you will not be upstaged. Prove scripture with scripture.
And historical evidence.... actual evidence and you will get a convert or two.

Revelation 22:18 - For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Revelation 22:19 - And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

You have added and you have taken away... or I should say those who taught you have and you bought it hook , line and sinker.

By your leave.
