Anticatholic: "Did you know those who distort the Gospel are condemned?
This includes apostles, priests, popes, pastors or angels (apparitions of Mary) from heaven. The apostle Paul warned: "there are some who...want to distort the gospel of Christ.
But even though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed" (Gal. 1:7-8).
Catholics need to be warned that their clergy is under divine condemnation for adding works and sacraments to God's Gospel (CCC, 1129)."

Oh and Martin Luther took books out of the Bible that had been considered the word of God for over 1500 years, (do not add or take away from Scripture)
he distorted the Bible, he added Bible alone (found nowhere in Scripture), he rejected the Scriptures repeated teachings about the Eucharist,
and added a teaching found no where in Scripture.
Oh and Scripture also says to listen to the Church (Matt 18:17)  "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector,"
The New Testament also extols celibacy (remaining free from sex) as a higher vocation than marriage, need I show you where those Scriptures are?
Just a few of many Scriptures that Bible alone Christians refuse to take into account. Whose distorting the Gospel? Who is preaching a Gospel contrary to that which was preached to you?
If Catholics are guilty of it, apparently that is an epidemic that every denomination has.
You can open your Bible and say "you papist look at what the Scripture says."
The Catholic can then point out how Jesus said over and over again, you must eat my flesh and drink my blood, this is my body this is my blood.
We believe it because Jesus said so, and Paul made it very clear as well.
Cant we take Jesus on his word.  Or take Martin Luther and the Founding Fathers of Protestantism on their word which has no Scriptural basis.

Denominations are created when men cannot accept what the Word says. They pick and choose what scriptures their flesh can accept or not accept and then they heap up others and teachers who will speak the way they want to hear. The same applies to Hired Shepherds who speak the smooth things that allow the sheep to scatter into dark pastures, just so they can keep their offerings and tithes.
There is PARTIAL truth in ALL divisions of Christ, but there is only ONE WORD and only those who do not divide the Word(Bread of life) up to suite their tastes will receive the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
We only decieve ourselves, not God.
Many like to claim that the law is no more, yet it says that those who truly love Christ would not be subject to sin because they are supposed to be set free from desiring a sinful lifestyle to live for the Word of God not just to cover them up as you continue a life of sin, still belonging to the devil at heart and not the Word at all. That is called unfaithful, prostitution, for they are not being faithful to the Word and selling themselves to the enemy to fulfill their lustful needs.

Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:KJV

Rom 8:12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

Apparently you didnt take into account the Scripture that says
"if he is disobediant to the Church, may he be to you as a pagan or a tax collector".

Also, Christ didnt tell the Disciples go forth and hand out Scripture to people.  It was all word of Mouth, tradition.
99.9% of people at that time did not have access to Scripture, and/or no how to read or understand it,
and 100% of the people did not have access to the Bible.
That is why tradition is so important.
You accept the tradition that the Canon of Scripture is correct, despite the fact that there is nothing in Scripture that says this is true or even speaks of a "Bible", a book containing all the inspired OT and New testament books.
