 Hi to all and many , on other forums say that their is only one gospel  !!

 Rom 5:14 reads , But death reigned fro  Adam  until  Moses , even over the ones  not  having  sinned after the likeness of the  transgression  of  Adam , who is the  Pattern of the  coming  ( ONE ) !!

 So if there really is one gospel  How were people   saved  from  Adan until  Moses ??

 I have a view , and maybe some one has a better explanation then I  ??

 Let's see !

Hi and this is what I see in Rom 5:14 !!

 #1, And  death  reigned from then on as the verb   REIGNED / BASILEVO  is in the Greek AORIST TENSE od what we call the past tense !!

 #2, Adam was nthe  ONLY  one to have  Free  Will !!

 #3, No one can  EVER  do again what Adam did in the garden as text says ,  even after the  likeness of the tgransgression of Adam !!

 #4 Gen 4:4 says what is even happening today ,   Abel  brought the right  OFFERING  , a Lamb    ,   and Cain  brought the  WORK  of his hands !!

 #5 We have the same problems today ,  I give and have been going to church 50 years   OR  I have been baptized  ETC , ETC !!

 #6 We see that Adam is a  PATTERN  of the old creation !!

 #7 Now , Christ is the  PATTERN  of the new creation !!

Where have you ever read in the Bible thatAdam was the only one to have Free Will?

What are you referencing when you say no one can EVER do again what Adam did in the garden?

If you are talking about eating of the fruit that Eve gave him to eat after she picked it from the tree ... you are correct because we have
no access to that fruit... HOWEVER...If you mean disobeying God's direct order and command...My friend , that is done every day by someone.

You need to come clarify specifically what you are talking about if you want an honest dialogue.

 Death reigned from Adam to Moses. No one was "saved." ( Maybe at the resurrection of the just.)

The law came and helped atone for sins. (still the same gospel). The O.T. law of works.

Jesus came and brought the free gift of grace through salvation.



 

Yes, you're right about the O.T. faithful.
I was thinking of the word "blessed" instead of "saved" because it wasn't clear of what they were being "saved" from.
