WHO WAS THE FIRST ONE IN THE BODY OF CHRIST ? (Author : dan p)  Hi to all and there are many position of when the  BODY  of  Christ  began ??

 Some say it began in Genesis

Some say it began in Acts 2

 Some say it began in Acts 9

 Some say it began in Acts 13

 And some say it began in Acts 28

 What say you ??

What saith the voice of God? All are wrong above~it begun before the foundation of the world.

2nd Timothy 1:9~"Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,"

Eternally all were chosen TOGETHER; vitally we are added sometime during our life on earth when the Spirit regenrates us; practically it is when we first believe and are baptized into Jesus Christ~is the first evidence of it. 

The reason why you have so many different reasons is that people refuse to accept God's testimony, and then they began to speculate base on their preconceived understanding how one is born again.

Reply #2 by Johnb The Guy with the keys to the kingdom (Peter) was promised that he would get to open the door.  He preached the first sermon in Acts 2 and 3000 were added.  He later also opened the door for the gentiles.

Christ never began, hence the body of Christ never began.

 I do know about 2 Tim 1:9  and Eph 1:4  is also and answer , but 2 Tim 1:9  has more answers  PRO /BEFORE  and verse 9 does not use the Greek word dispensation  , but instead uses the Greek word  AIONIOS  which I believe means  time related to the  AGES !!

 I believe that the  B O C  began with Paul , what say you ??

 Explain how Jews can be saved today with a verse ??

I have given ny position and refuse to chase a fruitless rabbit trail that has no profit to it.

Acts 7:38~"This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:"

I know, go ahead tell me that this is not in the original Greek! But the truth is: there has ALWAYS been a church~"called out Assemely"

 Or say how Paul was  saved in Acts 9:6 ?

 Here is another , why was Paul in 1 Cor 15:8  "  born out of  DUE  TIME ."

 Here is another one in Gal 1:15  where Paul was  separated  from his  mother's womb , and called  by his Grace >

 By the way the Greek word  SEPARATED / APHROIZO   Paul had  BOUNDARIES ,  and  SEPARATED  ,  or  LIMITED  to GRACE  only !

 Paul was in Rom 1:1  also called  AND  APRHORIZO / LIMITED  and  SEPARATE and had  BOUNDARIES  to only preach the  GOSPEL  of God and not to preach the Kingdom of Heaven as Jesus did in Matt 4:17  !!

 So that means there are 4 gospels  !!

 Here is one that all  FAIL  to see in Rom 5:14  , That death reigned from Adam to Moses ,  so what is that  GOSPEL  CALLED ??

 So how were they saved   FROM  Adam to  Moses ??

The OT prophets who knew Him and foresaw His coming to earth would also be part of the body of Christ

Reply #10 by dan p  Hi and it says in  1 Cor 12:13  , For by one  Spirit we were all  BAPTIZO / PLACED  into  one  body , whether  Jews  and  Greeks  , whether   slaves   or  free , and were all given to  drink into one    SPIRIT   , not  into ONE  HEAD  !!
