So maybe I posted this in the wrong spot.

Anybody else notice this on the news yesterday?

JAIA,
interesting newsnote.
I get to visit GCCF only on a limited basis, in snippets of time, at work.
getting ready to shut down for the day.

my family once visited a DOC group in Mobile, AL.
they had a young lady as their preacher.
(about which my 12-yr-old daughter asked questions in the car on the ride home!)
I do remember her lesson, to this day; it was about God molding us into His image.
she had the yg children come up to play with playdough, before they were dismissed to children's church.
it left quite an impression on me.

another time we visited a DOC in Meridian, MS; it was far more formal, but friendly enough.
the lesson then was memorable, but delivered by an elderly gentleman.
he discussed "the three face of God".

hopefully, this sister will make an impression on our new president and our nation!

if you see the sermon text, perhaps you can post the link?

I like her summary/thesis quote --

Quote
She added, "I hope that my message will call us to believe in something bigger than ourselves and remind us to reach out to all of our neighbors to build communities of possibility."
