It is true that the kingdom of God will NOT come with observation, and neither will they say~see here...see there for the kingdom of God is WITHIN YOU Jesus said....meaning that it was in their very midst, yea, THE KING was speaking to them and they knew it NOT!

You quoted 1st Corinthians 3:16-20~yet those scriptures is NOT what Christ was saying to those Pharisees who were VOID of the Spirit of God, he was saying to them that the kingdom of God was WITHIN THEIR MIDST yet they did not know that Jesus was the KING of the kingdom of God preaching daily in their temple and throughout all of Israel!

I think you are missing the Christ's Point here. "Many" will come in HIS Name, saying "HE" is truly the Christ, and they will deceive many.

This is speaking about evil men, "disguised" as Apostles of Christ and "Ministers of Righteousness" as Paul tells us. The teaching that Jesus is warning of "MANY" men are going to call themselves Jesus doesn't make sense. How could a person who claims to be the Messiah come in Jesus' Name? How could you be deceived by a person who calls Himself "Jesus"?

But a person who comes in Christ's Name, who says the Jesus of the Bible is truly the Christ, that person could deceive "Many".

Also, can you find one generation since Jesus ascended into heaven that did not hear of "Wars and rumors of wars"? When, since Jesus ascended, have there been a time of no famines, earthquakes, disease. When have kingdoms of the earth not rose up against each other?

This is the way it is on our planet. This is the world we live in. It gets worse day by day, with people deceiving and being deceived, but this part of Matt. 24 is experienced by every true believer since Jesus ascended.

We have our lifetime to "Repent" and bring forth works meat for repentance. When we die, that's it. We wait for Judgment, and rest in hope that we are partakers of the first resurrection.

This is why Jesus said;

 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

He is speaking to the end of our life here. In most cases the true believer will die before Jesus actually makes His Triumphant return. This is HIS Return for most. We die, and when our eyes are open again we will be partakers of the 1st or 2nd resurrection. This death is the "Thief" that comes in the night.

For this reason I do not waste my time trying to "unlock" the mystery of Revelations and the future. We know the end of the world is coming, but chances are I will die before it gets here. So why engage in "Looking for a sign" of His Coming. We should be ready each day as it is written; "Today if you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts.

This is why Jesus said not to worry about "tomorrow".

Matt. 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

 He wants us to know that in this life we will have wars and rumors or wars, deceivers and false preachers, and "many" will reject the Love of God (His Commandments). That there will be religious men who come in HIS name, who teach that Jesus is truly the Christ, who will deceive "many". And the Love of God will grow cold.

 But that if we "endure" temptations and keep our self "Unspotted from the world" to the end of our life, we shall be saved. And we don't know when we will die, and we don't know when the end of the world will come.

But we do have today. "Today, if you hear His Voice, harden not your hearts."

This is a doctrine taught by "Many" who come in Christ's Name. But We are to take heed we are not deceived by religious men.

As far as signs and wonders, we have a religion of the land that created an image of God in the likeness of some handsome longhaired men's hair shampoo model, and has convinced the entire world that this image is Christ, when we both know it is not. I find that quite spectacular especially given that the Christ commanded we not partake in such behavior in the first of His Ten Commandments.

The entire world has been convinced to reject the Feast's of the Christ in favor of ancient pagan festivals introduced into "Christianity", in Christ's Name, by a known Sun Worshipper some 350 years after the Christ ascended. Man made "Feast's unto the Lord" that Israel was punished for creating. Talk about signs and wonders.

And that isn't about some Moonie that just says he is Jesus. That is about a pseudo-Christ that will have power to actually work those great signs and wonders that would almost deceive even the very elect. This is a doctrine taught by "Many" who come in Christ's Name. But We are to take heed we are not deceived by religious men.

It's more than that. This is why our Lord Jesus was specific about the supernatural great signs and wonders the pseudo-Christ will do per Matt.24:23-26, giving us comparison of how if possible, that working would deceive even His very elect. Do yoiu realize what level of miracle working by a false Christ it would take to almost... deceive Christ's very elect who are sealed?

Granted in the Matt.24:5 verse He was speaking of ordinary men who claim to be Jesus. We've had plenty of those through history, even a few in my lifetime. But they didn't have power to work supernatural miracles, like the one Jesus showed us in the Matt.24:23-26 section of verses.

Apostle Paul gives us this contrast also in 2 Thess.2. The one doing the signs and lying wonders exalting himself as God in verse 4 is different than the "mystery of iniquity" which represent Antichrist's workers. Same thing in the Matthew 24:5 (many antichrists) in contrast to Matthew 24:23-26 (the Antichrist).

A lesser known example also by Apostle Paul was given in 2 Corinthians 11 in contrast to Satan who disguises himself as an angel of light compared to his servants that also disguise themselves as the ministers of righteousness. Paul started that discussion off about the "another Jesus". So I guess it just takes an anvil to hit some brethren on top of the head before they'll wake up and realize our Lord Jesus and His Apostles have supplied us with ample examples in His Word about the coming of Satan as the Antichrist at the end of this present world working supernatural miracles and playing God in Jerusalem.

Or, the church/temple could have a ONE MAN SHOW who thinks he is the eyes, mouth, ears, hands feet, head of that particular church having a Choleric personality type mixed with a Sanguine personality type that's primarily one being highly talkative, enthusiastic, active, and social. But most of it is fake, nevertheless, he knows that it is needed to deceive their followers, so, to get them HOOKED, they pour forth all the "Karo Syrup" and make them feel they are the most important person in the world and once hooked then they JUST BECOME A ANOTHER  number to be used to further their evil cause!

They are generally highly intelligent which causes others to have them in admiration because of the great advantage they have over most folks. So, once their followers are overcome by them, they, in turn, tell others of THIS GREAT VOICE FOR GOD.

I have lived in the Christian faith for fifty years staring in my early twenties and have seen it all, and have witnessed the fulfilling of these very scriptures FIRST HAND. I started out being taught the very doctrine you are now attempting to defend, and maybe in sincere faith, God is your judge, not me.

Sir, before leaving these scriptures please listen to word of God telling us WHO Jesus is speaking of that are right there in the very scriptures we are considering~ notice again Jesus' words: For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, not a single person, some superman, etc., but false ChristS, and false prophetS, of whom men will say of...SEE HERE....SEE THERE a man of God filled with the power of God! and they (false prophets) will be QUICK to tell you that they are and that you are to hear the word of God AT THEIR MOUTH, not from a lowly and unlearned believer who does not have the call of God on their life!

Answer to your question harkens back to Mosaic LAW - specifically the observance of a Hebrew holiday called YEAR OF JUBILEE.   

Hold on for my answer as it requires a bit of background to explain.

When Moses ascended the mountain to receive God's LAW, the 3rd commandment stipulated remembrance of shabbat to keep it holy - separated from other days for God.  That would be the 3rd commandment if memory serves.  The sabbath day is the seventh day of the week not the first day (read Exodus 20).  Christians break the LAW and SIN every time they attend church on Sunday morning because Sunday is the first day, not the seventh.   Blame the Catholic church for misleading believers.  (Daniel 7, Revelation 13)

Every seventh day was to be a day of rest. (*)

Moses' LAW went on to declare every seventh year as a shabbat year.   During the shabbat/sabbath year the land was not to be cultivated.   Every seven shabbat years was a designated pause and observance of the YEAR OF JUBILEE.

If you're counting that would be 7 x 7 = 49 + 1 = 50.

Every fiftieth year was to be a jubilee year.  During the Jubilee Year all real estate was to be returned to its original owner, debts were to be eliminated and endentured servants/slaves were to be given the option of freedom or to remain in servitude for life. 

The caveat is that the YEAR OF JUBILEE was never observed.

Moses died before fifty years passed and Joshua, who became the leader of the Hebrews, never saw fit to require its observance.   After many years passed, Hebrews eventually lost track of the actual year and date when Moses' delivered the LAW.  They forgot the original date and couldn't calculate following years of Jubilee - not that they were interested in observing it in the first place.

By the time the Chaldeans overran Israel and carried off the Jews into captivity in Babylon nobody even remembered the days of Jubilee.   Seventy years later the Jews returned to the land, to Eretz Israel, but generations would pass before the advent of Yeshuah - Jesus the messiah.  When Jesus walked and taught among the Jewish people of Israel EVERYBODY knew of the lost knowledge.  Nobody knew when the assigned day and time of Jubilee was supposed to begin.

Bear in mind that Jewish shabbat begins at dusk on the sixth day and ends at dusk on the seventh day - Friday to Saturday.   Some Jewish holidays are observed at noon.  So on and so forth....

When Jesus was asked about the Second Coming He replied that nobody knew the DAY or HOUR (dusk or noon or whatever).  Why? 

Because the answer required a mathematical calculation, not a spiritual revelation. 

Their problem was simple.  Nobody could do the math because everybody had forgotten the day and hour stipulated by Moses for observance of Jubilee.

Its just that simple........but there's another spin to the problem.

We add insult to injury when pseudo-prophets attempt predictions. 

Western calendars are based upon one orbit of the earth about the sun - solar calendars.  The Gregorian calendar wasn't adopted until 1582, BY THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. (Daniel 7 - again)   The new calendar changed previous LUNAR calendars which observed time according to one orbit of the moon around the earth.  The Muslim calendar is a lunar calendar to this day.   Hebrew calendars are BOTH lunar and solar.  Ask your local rabbi to give you one of their calendars and you'll see it clear enough.

In other words, we can guess the year because Jesus said to watch trends.  We can't guess the day and hour because nobody remembers when it ought to be - dusk, noon, whatever.

Its a mathematical problem, not a spiritual one.   That's why Jesus said nobody knows the day or the hour.   It actually IS rocket science and nobody knows the formula because the point of origin is unknown.

(*) Someone will surely say it doesn't matter which day one chooses to worship God because believers will worship God at all times.  However, the LAW, which gentiles falsely deny, specifies the seventh day is special.  The seventh day is to be observed from dusk on Friday to dusk on Saturday.  No work is to be done, no commerce is to be engaged and no extensive traveling is to be undertaken. It does matter what day one reserves as a day of rest because it matters to God.  It is so stated in God's LAW.

I hear what my Lord Jesus said. The warning of "many" in Matt.24:5 coming claiming to be Christ is about the "many antichrists" of 1 John 2:18. But the pseudochristos ("false Christs") of Matt.24:24 (covered in the 23-26 verse section) is about 'a spurious Messiah' that comes working "great signs and wonders" to deceive. Right off that shows a difference. The 2 Thess.2 Scripture reveals the same warning about the "man of sin" who will sit in a temple in Jerusalem proclaiming to be God, working those signs and lying wonders. Not hard to understand at all; a little child can understand this from those Scriptures.

God does not desire for his children to live in a state of being little children.

1Corinthians 16:13~"Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."

Most all of the word of God is not made for little children but those of full of age spiritually speaking.  The scriptures are only:

Proverbs 8:9......all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

Some say, “The Bible is too difficult!” Others say, “The Bible contradicts itself!” Some say that the scriptures are so simple that even a child can under. Many conclude, “Anything can be taught from the Bible. It is impossible to know the truth for sure.” The devil is pleased with such absurd remarks. But the WISE MAN teaches that the words of wisdom are plain and right~ to those with understanding and knowledge! If you have a problem with the Bible, you have the problem, not the Bible! God has given certain rules for us to understand his word.

A little understanding and knowledge, from fearing the Lord and trembling before His word, will open the Bible to us (Proverbs 1:7; 9:10; Psalms 25:14; Isaiah 66:2; Luke 8:18). The words become plain and right, when one studies the Bible humbly by its rules of interpretation. If one approaches it arrogantly or critically, it is designed to confuse and destroy them and it WILL! (See and consider: Ezekiel 14:1-11; Ist Corinthians 1:19-20; 2:13-15; 2nd Thessalonians  2:9-12; 2nd Timothy 2:15; 2nd Peter 3:16).

The Bible is plain and right, if you are born again (John 3:3; Romans 3:11), are enlightened by the Holy Spirit (See and ponder: Ephesians 1:17-18), fear God (Pr 15:33), delight in the Lord (Neh 8:6-8; Ps 37:4), obey what you learn (John 7:17), pray for wisdom (Psalms 119:18; James 1:5), work for it Ist Timothy 2:15; 4:13-15), will take correction (Proverbs 26:12; Ist Corinthians 3:18-19), have a godly motive (Psalms 119:11; Luke 10:38-42).

Not as simple as being a little child who are without very much understanding and true knowledge, which generally comes many years later IF even at that!
