dpr - Whether you agree or not, the war in heaven described in Rev. 12 is a flash-back to the time Christ’s body was in the grave for three days and three nights. Christ forewarned His disciples on several occasions that Satan was about to be cast out of heaven and released on the earth.
No it's not, that's a silly idea.
In the Rev.12:11 verse we are shown a link to delivered up saints of the 5th Seal of Revelation 6. That is during the tribulation for the end of this world, which is still future to us.
I just showed you the 1 Peter 5:8 verse about Satan still loose today seeking to devour whom he will, a warning Peter gave to all Christians. So are you blind? Not able to read? Or is it you just don't care what the actual Scripture states, and are here just to present confusion against Christ's Church? I don't want to think those things, but that's what I'm seeing from your posts.
John 12:31 (Five days before His crucifixion)
“NOW is the judgment of this world” (the woeful oppression of the inhabitants of earth and sea in Rev. 12:12 for a “short time”)
“NOW shall the prince of this world be cast out.” (cast out of heaven unto the earth as in Rev. 12:9)
Now is relative to the context Jesus gave. You ought to know that because God's Judgment of this present world has yet to happen today. It did not happen then. It won't until the day of Christ's 2nd coming. And that is so... simple to understand.
You clearly haven't understood this phrase in red either...Rev 12:7-8
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
As of right now, Satan is still able to roam the earth, and appear before God's throne in Heaven, like he did in the Book of Job. Satan is not locked in chains in his prison pit just yet.
Christ's death on the cross sealed God's judgment of Satan, as he was actually already judged and sentenced to perish long ago (Isaiah 30:33; Matt.25:41). At that point of time at Rev.12:7 with that future war in Heaven, right then, there will be no more place found in Heaven for Satan and his angels. The Rev.12 verses after that event declare Satan and his angels being cast down to this earth, literally, not philosophically, not metaphysically. Satan has the image of man, as also do his angels. And that is how he will appear here on earth when he comes. But he will work supernatural power, miracles, that will deceive the whole world. That is what Rev.13:11 forward shows us, and what the Matt.24:23-26 Scripture is about, also the 2 Thess.2:3-4 Scripture.
John 14:30. (The night before His crucifixion). “Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for THE PRINCE OF THIS WORLD COMETH, and hath nothing in me.” (Satan was coming to the earth to “walk about like a roaring lion” for that “short time” and the “little season” after Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.
You really don't realize how wrongly you apply that above John 14:30 Scripture. Jesus is talking about the future casting out of Heaven of Satan and his angels for the future tribulation. That is the timing He is pointing to with declaring Satan is coming, and has nothing in Him. That is the Scripture where John was referring to with the brethren about they're already have heard that antichrist shall come. John in 1 John 2:18 pointed to a singular "antichrist" (Satan) and a group of "many antichrists" (Satan's followers). The brethren had already heard that the antichrist shall come, and that's what Jesus was talking about that the prince of this world 'cometh'. By that simply Jesus told us who exactly the coming Antichrist will be, i.e., Satan himself. But many brethren are hard of hearing, as if their understanding is in a spiritual stupor to where they cannot understand this simple matter.
Luke 22:53 (in the Garden of Gethsemane the night Jesus was taken) “When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me” (because Satan, the “strong man”, was still bound during Christ’s ministry) “but THIS IS YOUR HOUR, and the POWER OF DARKNESS.” (Satan’s power to deceive again at full capacity was about to be unchained at the end of the millennium that year of AD 33)
Sorry, but you cannot twist that verse to make it say that. Jesus was not speaking about Satan in chains, He was speaking that to the chief priests and captains of the temple, how they before had ample chance to seize Him but didn't. He was simply showing that time of His captivity was ordained, and they had no real power of their own.
John 16:7-11 (Christ’s words on the night of the last supper, telling His disciples about the work the soon-coming Holy Spirit would perform) “And when He is come, He will convince the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment...of judgment, because the Prince of this world IS JUDGED” (it would be a PAST tense fulfillment of that judgment, once the Holy Spirit came, because Satan would have been cast out of heaven the very day a resurrected Christ became a reality)
What Peter showed in 1 Peter 5:8 about Satan still roaming to devour today shoots holes in your theory on that, now doesn't it?
And once again, Rev.12:11 shows the saints of brethren of the 5th Seal are persecuted once the Rev.12:7-9 event happens. And that means it's still a future event to us, because the 5th Seal event is tribulation timing when the beast king (dragon) will be in power over all the earth (per Rev.13:4-8).
The rest of your post is just 'trash talk', so I won't bother to waste my time responding to it.
