Satan uses Religions to Mislead us.       God’s Word is very clear on this matter. 
1Timothy 6:6-10  Don't you know,that the love for money here on earth is just like a shadow, but the wages of this end up in the bottomless dark pit for eternity.
Proverbs 11:4  Riches are worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness brings deliverance from death.
Psalm 39:6  Surely every man goes about like a phantom; surely he bustles in vain; he heaps up riches not knowing who will haul them away
Ecclesiastes 5:10 He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves wealth with his income; this also is vanity.
Has anyone ever told you about any of these verses? Almost certainly not. Yet, they are basic, and have been in the Bible for thousands of years!

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
Exodus 22:22-24 You shall not mistreat any widow or fatherless child. If you do mistreat them, and they cry out to me, I will surely hear their cry, and my wrath will burn, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.
James 2:14-17  What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Luke 12:20 But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be required of you. Then who will own what you have accumulated?
Matthew 16:26 and Luke 9:25   For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?   
 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 
 Will they be surprised when God follows through with the consequences, exactly as He said He would ?
Numbers 23:19   God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change his mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?
Whether you believe GOD or not...it is totally op to you.
I'm only attempting to remind us of the Truth found through His Word: What He commands us , all I'm saying is, why not obey Him -- why not properly esteem Him .

It isn't religion the devil uses to mislead us - its LIES, which are meant to manipulate us to turn our backs upon God.

Religious manipulation is older than human history, while political manipulation is relatively new.   Both require suspension of disbelief and both use emotion to persuade the gullible.

BEWARE EMOTIONAL MANIPULATION.

All propaganda, be it religious or political, is based upon emotion.  

The greatest and best example of political manipulation is patriotism.   Flag waving emotional appeals to home hearth and family are all used to manipulate gullible masses to support government policy regardless of its criminal goals.  Case in point is the current level of foreign wars created by the American government for the purpose of sustaining financial and political hegemony worldwide.  Any and every sort of criminal activity is justified to the American people in the name of patriotism.   Americans are always right, the flag is always to be honored and our government may be confused but they always have the best intentions for everyone at heart.    Bovine excrement - all of it.  God NEVER requires allegiance to any government - EVER.

Religious manipulation resides in habitual repetition and the use of religious slogans and buzz words used like an emotional crutch.  Most Christians have no idea what they're talking about when they quote religious slogans, but they act as if it comes from the mouth of God almighty.  It gets really really dangerous when Christian fascists mingle their religion with patriotism.   They vomit phrases like, "God is able" as they wrap their cross in an American flag.   I cannot think of anything more grotesque.   

Those that quote the "God is able" slogan are usually saying God will bless America regardless of any filthy thing Americans put their hands to.  Do you not know O man that the German government under Hitler promoted the exact same religious phrase to justify its international crimes?    Does God not also judge?   Is God not ALSO able to judge a wicked nation?   Indeed He is.

IF GOD DOES NOT JUDGE AMERICA, HE WILL HAVE TO APOLOGIZE TO SODOM AND GOMORRAH.

This may be true, but it is not popular among the spiritually dead manipulated masses of the United States.   Those that aren't posturing as saints in their favorite religious venue on Sunday morning are telling themselves how intelligent they are for turning their backs upon God and the religious circus maintained in His name.   They too are fools pursuing a fantasy except there is no one around to explain it to them - given the rare occasion when they might listen.

It is time to repent of our sins and wickedness and humbly return to God.  God does not and will not forgive unless sincere repentance precedes it.   God does not hear the prayers of sinners - except for petitions uttered in repentance.

GOD WILL NOT BLESS AMERICA because we have turned our back upon Him.   

We must repent - all of us.

Judgment is already upon us.  It WILL continue in waves of greater and greater severity.   

Judgment is meant to turn people to repentance.   God isn't vindictive, but He is willing to destroy everything to get our attention.  Until and unless we repent, judgment will not abate.   It will become worse and worse.
