End Times Question
« on: Mon Jan 01, 2018 - 12:07:23 »
Hi All....
Does everyone know the next big event coming any day or year to our planet?
No, it's not Jesus coming back to reign for a thousand years.
It's the seven year peace plan.
You can lose your soul if you are deceived by the coming Antichrist.
Here is the best short video I have found explaining this end times prophecy in detail.

Your question asks for the next event to occur to our planet, and I suggest the following. Your video deals with the second half of the week of tribulation; I didn’t listen to it all, but skimmed through its scriptures presented.

When does this following scripture occur? the middle of the week, and what week is this? Is there anything happening in the first half of the week, or prior to it?

What do you think of Dan 12:11  And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (This will happen 30 days prior to the covenant with many being signed by the man of sin.)

Dan 9:27a  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week (This is the abomination of desolation, or the man of sin) and by all I read of that time, it will be no time of peace. Rev 7:14-15 describes the saints not ready for pre-trib as having been caught up out of great tribulation. That first three and one-half years of the week is also the temptation to come upon all the world. Rev 3:10 certain ones of the church are promised to be kept from.

After the first saints are present with our Lord after He receives His own throne in Rev 4:2 on the Lord’s Day, John is shown two companies of believers: the Twenty-four elders of Rev 4:4 & the Four Living ones of Rev 4:6.

Then we read of the second half of the week in 2Th 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.  (Just when is the antichrist revealed?) Dan 9:27b.
Thanks Val.

Hi All....

Your link is a piece of garbage when it comes to Daniel 9:27 and the usual error of trying to substitute Christ's work with that of the work of the prince foretold in Daniel 9:26.

The best video for the Book of Daniel (end times) is :

Paul Godfrey's "Daniel Unsealed - World History's Response to Biblical Prophecy" :

I would say that the next big event, prophetically speaking, is the rise of a one world government. This system will be used by the Antichrist to rule and deceive the whole world.

I'll be enjoying my life as Jesus gave "me" His peace.

Y'all can worry and talk about bad news if you like.

There's no stupid antichrist coming. What a boring story!!

I'm a lot happier than any Futurist!

Get with the Good news!

When Israel completes its 70th year as a nation on May 13th 2019. This is the generation of Jews that Matthew 24 speaks of that will have seen all these things come to pass.

I am pretty sure most Christian believers are not worried about the Antichrist or the tribulation. Our King is in control and will take care of our souls. I am happy, and although you might not be an end time believer, Bible prophecy will be fulfilled, as it is written in the Bible.

Sorry, this generation is not from the same generation Jesus spoke of.  Stop playing on words- Jesus did not say "that" generation. Whew, so00000 in the past!  Let's get on with good news for believers!

The Revelation of Jesus Christ over the skies of Jerusalem showed the tribes of the land proof that Jesus returned and the power of the holy people was shattered.

Hi lea,

I'm not sure what your message means in response to my post. Could you please elaborate further if you were trying to address a point?
Also, are you claiming that Jesus Christ has already returned?

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Jesus returned over the skies of Jerusalem during the Roman/Jewish war. Look in the Preterist sub forum for some answers.

Have a great day!

In case anyone really cares......

On Friday July 27th another blood moon will be observed in certain areas of the world.   Accompanying the display this time will be the planet Mars, which can be seen approximately 2 degrees from the moon at the five o'clock position.

Every self-proclaimed expert seems to have an opinion as to what comes next - prophetically - rather than being concerned about what is upon us already.

At the present time the United States of America is under judgment of God for its wickedness, its unjust murder of millions, its criminal government and its wanton reckless disregard of God.

I am writing this in the last week of July 2018.  As of this writing, the USA has suffered over 1 billion dollars worth of destruction and loss of life per month.   Actually its a bit more than 7 billion, but I'm floating the number out just as a point of argument.   Gullible godless Americans like to say, 'God Bless America', but in point of fact God is NOT blessing America.  He is delivering curses upon us.

The evidence of one's own eyes ought to be sufficient to convince even the most die hard skeptic.   God is judging America NOW.   The current level of constant destruction has never been recorded in history before, with but one exception.   The death of 640,000 Americans and the destruction of the entire Southern Civilization fell upon us during the Civil War, which is now recognized as a judgment of God upon America for the sin of slavery.   It happened to us before and is happening to us again.  America is not exceptional in the eyes of God.

How bad does it have to get before we will fall to our knees as a nation and repent of our collective wickedness?

Pretty bad, apparently.

Watch and learn, pilgrim.    There is more to come and it will not be pretty.

that's me, hollering from the choir loft...

God Bless.

Pretty much right on.

There's some small matters he covered that needs clarification. The idea of the "holy covenant" in Dan.11 is not the "league" itself, but is the result of the "league" made. The "holy covenant" represents the re-established old covenant with a new temple and sacrifices again in Jerusalem by the orthodox Jews. Those who forsake that "holy covenant" are his allies against it, the "small people" he has dealings with mentioned earlier in Dan.11.

In Dan.2 about the beast statue, notice it shows 5 pieces 'together'... when the stone not made with hands (Jesus) comes to smite it upon its feet of ten toes, and the whole comes tumbling down. The feet of ten toes of clay mixed with iron represents the final one-world beast kingdom of Revelation 13. Because Dan.2 shows all the other pieces together on top, means the final beast kingdom will include all of those previous beast systems as one. And because the feet of mixed clay and iron is really weak, and the heaviest pieces are on top (gold being the heaviest), it reveals that final beast will be very top heavy, ready to fall.

There's at least two groups of orthodox Jews in Jerusalem today that I know of which have been preparing the materials to build a new temple for last couple of decades. At one time they even tried to place a cut cornerstone upon the Temple Mount (see Land of Israel and Temple Mount Faithful).

1 John4
Testing the Spirits
…3and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is already in the world at this time. 4You, little children, are from God and have overcome them, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 5They are of the world. That is why they speak from the world’s perspective, and the world listens to them.…
Berean Study Bible
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Is Satan still in this world? No, He is not in this "age to come"
He's in the lake of fire, so rebuke any influence of evil you may hear, in Jesus' name, and you will overcome the world.
Which Roman/Jewish war?   The First or Second?
I've read estimates of 500,000 to 1,000,000 Jews killed by the Romans during the Second Roman/Jewish war.
I'm an Amillennial but I do not believe that God turned his back on the Jews, nor did He want to see all of them perish.   God saved a Remnant.   If the Remnant has not done so well it is not due to God's wiping out the Jews.   The Gospel opens the eyes of those Jews who have chosen to be blind to the true Son of God.  God still loves them. They rejected the Suffering Servant because they were looking for a political Messiah.   Those who reject, and still reject, Jesus as the Messiah believe that Isaiah 53 refers to the people, Israel.   God Almighty used a Person, not a people, to reconcile mankind back to Him.  God has rejected no one as anyone is free to accept that the finished work of Christ has saved them.
What I reject about Preterism is a couple of things.  First of all, Preterists claim that Bible prophecy was fulfilled in 70AD when the Romans destroyed the Temple.   Bible prophecy was and is fulfilled in Christ.  The other error I reject is that the destruction of the Temple did not accomplish what Preterists claim.  The Jews had already turned away from the Temple worship and took up worship in synagogues, and they gave more credence to rabbinical teachings than the Scriptures.   Jesus told the Jews that they had turned His father's house into a den of robbers.  A new and better priesthood was established by Christ.  He is the Great High Priest.   He now reigns over His spiritual kingdom and He will return to establish an eternal (not temporary under Law) kingdom.     We don't need Preterism to show us error in Dispensationalism; Preterism creates more error in the process of trying to do that.
Notreligus,
Maybe not all fulfilled in AD70- that was Jesus' return fulfilled.
But whether the thousand years was symbolic or literal, it's over!
Perhaps the elect in heaven reigned with the Lord (literally) during the thousand years till AD1070 when Satan was prevented from deceiving on world, and many received the gospel at that time.
I'm praying for some blessings in the future not wars.  ::smile::
If one really studies their Bible, especially the OT prophets in conjunction with the NT Epistles and Revelation, then it's impossible for our Lord Jesus to have returned already. His 2nd coming is still not happened today. And for those who don't know this, they certainly are in sad shape, because He warned of a certain deceptive event to occur just prior to His 2nd coming.
Have a great day!
The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East. - Rev. 16:12
Apparently the sixth angel, who shall remain nameless, has been quite busy of late.
The waters of the Euphrates River, which have flowed from its headwaters in the mountains of Turkey to the sea since time immemorial - are drying up as you read these words !!!!!
Revelation 16:12 has been fulfilled !!!!
The cause of the massive drought in central and southern Iraq is political, not spiritual or mystical.   Over the years a number of dams were built in Turkey for irrigation, flood control, and hydro-electrical power generation.  Many news stories in recent weeks have documented the terrible drought being suffered by Iraqis.  The Euphrates River IS dry.  Rev 16:12 is no longer a future event.  It is now.
For the first time in history, the Euphrates River has dried up.
There is no "next event".   Although actual events in history do not seem to follow the same consecutive order as written in the Bible, they are happening nonetheless.   Something tells me God wants it that way.   Our job is to wait and see, to be good witnesses and to be ready for the advent of Our Lord whenever and however He chooses to appear.
One critical nation needs to be watched; Turkey.
Every red flag in the Bible points to Turkey as a dangerous opponent to Israel and world peace.
Consider the following:
All 7 churches of revelation are in Turkey.  Rev. 2-3
The throne of satan is in Turkey.  Rev. 2:13
True north of Jerusalem, Israel is Ankara, Turkey.  Ezek 38:6,15;39:2
Noah’s Ark landed on Mt. Ararat in Turkey.  Gen 8:4
Daniel 8 & 11 address the Greek Empire, not Rome.  At its fall, ancient Greece was divided into four parts; Greece, Turkey, Syria & Egypt
The Eastern Roman Empire/Byzantine Empire with its capital of Byzantium/Constantinople, survived the fall of Rome (476) until 1453.  Following the fall of Constantinople to the Muslim Ottoman Empire in 1453 the Ottoman Turkey survived until 1923.
Euphrates River originates in Turkey and will/IS drying up.  Rev 16:12
All the “-stan” central Asian nations are Turkic nations.
Muslims look to Turkey as the global leader of Islam. (The battle flag of Mohammad is in Istanbul/Constantinople as well as His sword.)
Current Turkish president Recep Erdogan wants to throw off the moderate government of Ataturk and restore the Ottoman Empire (former Roman/Byzantine empire).
WATCH TURKEY
End times of what?
End of the old covenant, written in hyperbolic language.
We are in "the age to come."
God's not going to fight with Israel any longer.  That was centuries ago.
Give it up. Finding people to pray for these days is much more valuable than predicting the future. That's witchcraft anyway(sorry, but true)
You can pray for blessings for the future, stay in faith, and God will answer.  Only God knows the future!
God bless us all!
