Sir, the earth has had seasons since time immemorial, caused by its tilt, long before Hezekiah. fact is, the earth was wobbled, but soon resumed its previous rotation.
What else was disrupted was the length of the year. Apparently, the cosmic event moved earth a little farther from the sun, lengthening the year by 5 1/4 days.
The moon was also affected. That's why we only had 10 months for awhile. The cosmic event was repeated, sending the moon into its present orbit & length of lunar month.
The planet Mars is a better candidate as the troublemaker. Speculation is that it was knocked out of its orbit by some object that passed thru the solar system. Whatever this object was, shattered a planet that's now the asteroid belt. If all the asteroids were put together, they'd form a body between the size of our moon & that of Mars.
Much of Mars' surface looks like an artillery range, with broken rocks all around. It has several huge dead volcanoes, with Olympus Mons being 72,000 feet high. And Mars should have more atmosphere than it does. This points to a close encounter with another planet that has much-greater gravity than Mars does. And Mars has long been associated with war or war gods, in cultures that never met.
Mars isn't heavy enough to really tear up earth, but it's heavy enough to cause problems & effects if they got close. Mars' gravity is only 38% of earth's, & Mars would be much-the-worse for wear if the planets became close, but earth wouldn't be unaffected.
Now, while I won't rule out Planet X entirely, I don't believe it was the main cosmic culprit for past events & catastrophes.
