Nebuchadnezzar's image of a man

In order to understand end time prophesy, one must have their history straight. Every point in prophesy has to be connected one to another, no prophesy stands alone, and no one verse can become doctrine.

Daniel 2, concerns Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and the Image he dreamed. This one image would represent most every king and ruler, and every kingdom since Babylon to today’s world-wide kingdom of Islam. Four major individual kingdoms represented by one image. It’s a long chain connected link by link, each in some way, brings forth the next.

The head of gold represents King Nebuchadnezzar; King of the Babylon Empire. The image continues into the Media-Persian Empire; the Grecian Empire and the Roman Empire with all their Caesar’s.

Secular Rome would be followed by the so called, Holy Roman Empire with all its Pope’s; which would in time give birth to Islam. Also in short spurts of history, the English, German, French, Spanish and Dutch empires would come and go.

The Ottoman’s had their days of glory, and now the Muslim religion of Islam rules where the once mighty Roman empire ruled. Islam dominates Turkey, Southern Russia, Syria, Iran, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, etc. etc. Catholicism has faded in military power but has maintained its wealth and influence in Europe, America and some South American nations. From the head of gold to the 10 toes of miry clay, this long chain of nations is represented in this one image of a man.

Some 2600 years have passed since Daniel interpreted Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in the year 603 B.C., and the one thing all the above had and continue to have is, each has been an enemy of the Jews; and every one of them has stuck their noses in God’s unfinished business with the Jews and now with Christians. The image represents the history of Kings, their kingdoms crossing 2600 year.

Daniel was taken into captivity in 606 until 534 B.C. During this period, there would be three deportations of Israel 598—587---584, also, Solomon’s Temple would be destroyed in 586 B.C.
Babylon’s reign according to the image began in 606 B.C. under the rule of King Nebuchadnezzar, and ended with Belshazzar, whose doom came on 10/29/539 B.C. at the hands of Cyrus. Babylon lasted about 66 years.

Now we move on to the breast and arms of silver, the Medio- Persian empire. During this empire we will meet men like King Cyrus, Darius and Artaxerxes.
Cyrus was born in 600 B.C. and died in 530 B.C. He  allowed the Jews to return to their own country. In 536 B.C. 44,000 Jews return to Israel 70 years after their captivity. Darius 1st ruled from 550 to 486 B.C.

King Artaxerxes of Persia would rule from 465 to 424 B.C. He would release the Jews to rebuild the moat and the walls in Jerusalem. His second decree came in 444 B.C. The Medio Persian empire would last until 335 B.C.

Next is the belly and thighs of brass. This would represent Alexander the Great and the Greek Empire. This empire would exist from 335 B.C. to about 68 B.C. when the last of the family of Antiochus fell.

Rome followed, they represented in the image the legs of iron. Rome lasted 426 years and fell in 9/4/476 A.D. Its defeat plunged the western world into what is known as the dark ages. Yet the church, persisted at Rome in the West, and Constantinople in the East. The Catholic church would represent the feet, part of iron and part of (potter’s) clay. Potter’s clay is a usable clay; usable by God, they having some value to God’s final plan.

The Holy Roman empire ruled by the Pope’s of Rome exists to this day, but now shares its religious authority, it’s wealth, and strength with Islam. The Holy Roman empire would in due course give birth to Mohomet and his religion of Islam. Mahomet knew the Catholic religion, he knew the Jews, their God and their scriptures; he knew Abraham, Moses and Jesus. He would adopt much of it, including the O.T. into their religious system. But what he did was add the Koran to his adopted but revised Jewish O.T. Mahomet was a great, great, grandson of Ishmael, whose father was Abraham, he therefore related to the Jewish people.

Constantinople would eventually be overrun by Islam and renamed Istanbul. But the Catholic church would continue to rule from Rome. Side note, both Rome and Constantinople were built on 7 hills.

Islam, I believe represents the feet, part “of iron mixed with miry clay (which is unusable, a useless clay).”

And here we stand today in the year 2017, waiting for the last page to be turned, that being the “stone made without hands” coming to destroy the image, crushing it to dust.
